Anderson and Smith are relatively cheap options, Flyers wouldn't need to give much more than a mid-tier pick.
As for Quick, it would be risky with his injury history, but could be a great addition depending on what the cost would be.
I will throw out the dark horse...Jimmy Howard. |

Who would want gudas? Cement blocks on his feet and hands hockey has passed him by and flyers will be lucky to get a high draft pick for Simmonds he’s on the downside BIG time |

Let Nylander sit. The bottom falls out of his salary demand after a failed year in SHL. Trade next summer. |

Does anyone, PLEASE!, want Allen, Anderson, and our GM Armstrong. I would be happy with a lump of coal in return at this point. - mauler
Might be too high a price. Coal has less of a stench than any of those options. Maybe used coal. |

Would the Flyers want Crawford from the Hawks ? What would they give ? - OutlawSteve
Crawford would be another option. He is a slight upgrade over Elliott with the only difference being 2 Stanley Cups in front of a stacked Hawks defense.
Probably a mid-prospect not named Frost, Farabee, Sanheim and maybe a 3rd. |

Wrong, pal. Gudas has been doing well again this year, and has been underrated most of his time in Philly. He's had one down season since joining the club. |

Simmonds being on the downside won't stop some GM from giving him $6M+ over 6 years this summer. It was well know that Lucic was on the downside when Chia (in yet another Chia moment) signed him to the ridiculous deal. Someone will go full Chia with Simmonds this summer and he will end up a compliance buyout when the next lockout ends. My point is that a contender will give something for him, especially if there is a multi-team market for him, which there likely will be. |

Why would the Kings trade a franchise goalie? They are competitive with him and NOT without him.
What's the price for Quick as one would assume it would be high. Does it include Carter Hart? If I were Blake, that would be a starter. I don't think an unsigned Wade Simmonds gets it done.
If you want to make it more into a blockbuster how about adding someone like Muzzin in there for say Sanheim? Younger D. Cap relief for the Kings.
I wonder if Simmonds would help get Kovulchuk (sp) in a deal in that K has 2 more years on his deal. The Flyers used to always do this in the old days.
The other two goalies out there aren't nearly as tempting.
The Flyers should be willing to part with picks and prospects at this point to get a franchise goalie. How does Jimmy Butler look on the Sixers? You wouldn't trade Fultz at this point for Korver? Sure you would (sorry, I am a little off the hockey reservation here as everyone is bat-sh*t crazy in LA because its actually RAINING. - flyersfaninLA
I don't see Simmer coming back to LA under any circumstance... he burned that bridge to the ground. |

How would that trade make any sense for the Kings anyway? They are nearing a rebuild of their own it would appear. |

Oh come on. You're not being fair to the Sportsnet guys on NHL Network. What will they have to talk about then? |
