Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
NOBODY outside of Leafs’ management and Nylander’s team knows anything.

first off I’m not your “pal” butt crack you guys over value your players and your draft picks big time if they were as good as you say the flyers wouldn’t be in year 16 of a rebuild! - Bobd62
Try using some periods in your post next time, pal. It’s hard to understand what your “points” are supposed to be. Haha!

If EK is right on one of these goalies he will reserve the right to haze me like Carrillo was his rookie year in Sarnia |

You can’t extend a contract that has ended. It’s a new contract. The permission thing was just a mistake by Ek, certainly not the first. - Djapana
Yes, true. The point was to discuss what it would take to sign him if a trade occurred. Since the price would be steep, the acquiring team would need assurances. All that aside, I don't see how permission is needed. |

|
Teams do not require the Leafs permission to talk to Nylander as he is an RFA. Under the CBA any team may contact an RFA to discuss the players interest in their team and a potential or actual offer sheet. |

Who would want gudas? Cement blocks on his feet and hands hockey has passed him by and flyers will be lucky to get a high draft pick for Simmonds he’s on the downside BIG time - Bobd62
He's actually not a bad straight line skater. Has issues when pressured, but he's a decent 5/6 guy. |

Oh god, please don't trade Quick to Philly. That's where goaltending careers go to die. He deserves better than that. |

For someone that "hears" so much, it amazes me how you continue to be 0 for whatever you spew...
So yes the Flyers are going to trade for either a 32 year old, a 37 year old or a 36 year old...
That's about right for you....
oh and the sign and trade... nice way to cover your ass since you've put out every other scenario.. |

I dont think this is correct at all. I do believe that teams can only simply offer sheet him. If they wanted to discuss his interest in a team and some sort of contract demands. I believe that Toronto would have to allow it. And they would only allow such a thing if said would has trade pieces they would even want. |

Kings will not trade Quick although they should. His (and this Kings team's) best days are behind him (them) and they could get some picks and/or prospects in return. This would be then one more goaltending knee-jerk reaction from the Flyers with Flyers fans wondering what it is about ice in Philadelphia that turns good goaltenders horrendous. |

I feel they will just give the Carey Price contract to Bob once he's a FA |

There's a lot of bad goalies on there. However, there's not a lot of bad goalies on there that were very successful outside of LA. - tkecanuck341
You mean goaltenders who were good before they played on the Kings? Like their careers died when they came to LA...

So do you, and stay in your lane, bud. The only Cup you've won since 1940 was an Edmonton Oiler reunion with a borderline Hall of Fame coach. - CupOnBroadSt.
But Messier was still an excellent player in 1994. His head coaching was legendary that season. Ask Mike Keenan. |

Quality goaltenders that were good while playing for other teams, but were terrible while playing for them. Before or after. |
