He tries very hard to make it look like it wasn't intentional.
It was.

I’ve been critical of TW for his past infractions.. but I just don’t see anything here... |

This guy must be dumber than a rock !! Just comes off a 20 (16) game suspension, should be on "best behavior", and does this.
Sure - hit a guy from behind, when he has NO chance to protect himself.
If the NHL Player Safety Review Board has any kahoonas Wilson is gone for the year.
I'd much rather watch skill players than a dolt like Wilson. |

Kid doesn’t learn. He didn’t turn away from the check whatsoever, and if anything leaned into make contact to the high-shoulder and head area.
Double-digit games, again. |

Obviously, I am with you. Seney was back playing. He tried to avoid. I don't see any more discipline forthcoming.

5 straight games with a goal is not a dolt. And we obviously disagree as I don't see this as a head hit or a hit from behind. Interference.... maybe. 5 and a game is enough IMO. Seney back playing.
But you're right.... I have no idea what the league will do. |

His back was to Wilson and the puck was long gone. There was no reason to hit him at all. |

I love Wilson’s physicality (man, I wish the Flyers had someone who played with his ferocity). But seriously - if you’re a player that has miss extended number of games for blindside hits, and you continue to put make poor decisions on the ice, you might as well find another line of work.

No, he didn't. You can't drive into the back of another car and then claim ignorance - you're responsible for that.
The puck was gone long. If he's truly incapable of avoiding him with that much time, then that's just another reason that he doesn't belong in the NHL. |

I just want to know how many times the same player has to be involved in an “accidental” hit or has to hit a guy in the head before fans of his realize it’s not an accident, he’s just a complete POS.
Why should anyone give him any benefit of the doubt anymore when a hit like this happens? |

Never have been, never will be a fan or cheerleader for Gudas.
I admire your loyalty to your Caps, but dude, Wilson’s hit tonight is suspendable, if not worthy of a season ban. The guy is a dumb hockey player...period. |

At this point Stevie Wonder can see Wilson will never learn to not do this.
They should permanently ban this chump. Not because of this occurance, but because what this occurance means: and that is the fact that he will never, ever learn.
What a dummy. |

Oh yeah. There are many guys that "toe the line" - including Kadri, who has rightly been suspended multiple times.
Wilson though... man, he only just got back from one similar cheap shot. It's clear that he has no remorse, and I hope they make an example of him. |

He could have tried to avoid the hit and made no effort to do so. Should be well aware as a repeat offender that the onus is on him to at least make an attempt to not injure. Reckless. Enough of his crap. He can be a very effective player without this crap. How long a suspension does he need to figure it out??? |

No rule for hitting from behind in open ice. He was skating backwards. I don't think he tried to hit him is where we can't get past.
and Optomotrist???? What do people see in them?

Given the time between dishing the puck and getting hit, the concept that he didn't try to hit him/tried to avoid him is utterly asinine.
As for the optometrist, eye I have idea... |
