The internet didn’t need my trolling for hits on the Wilson play. Plenty of that going around.
I’m a Caps blogger and give you what the organization states. Surely the Devils and others see it differently and as such they can choose to accept their take on it. Just as biased, but fair, IMO.

You sir are by far, a great deal better at this blogging thing than the guy who used to do the caps blogs.
It's a contact sport and those who actually play the game and can use context and some objectivity, know it wasn't nearly as bad of a play as the self entitled overly sensitive, hyper reactive internet crowd would have you believe.

Wilson knew what he was doing, probably should have made a better decision in the moment, but was penalized and that should be the end of it.
Wait a few days and someone in the league will do something far worse than what the lead singer from Junkhouse did.

Thanks for the sticktap. Appreciate that! Couldn’t agree more. I can get behind an interference penalty and even don’t lose sleep over the five minute pim given the optics in the league right now. But that was it. Still a bad play by him ultimately because he cost his team a major to kill off in a divisional game. Not good by any stretch.
