Was there and it was ugly.

It was ugly with the exception for Hank, who deserved to add to his 440 reg. season career wins total with his team not only being out shot 42-19 in SOG, but also in blowing a 3-0 lead heading into the 3rd Period. Smith's dumb & unnecessary penalty taken just about 2:00 into the 3rd was the game's turning point, in leading to the Jets first of two quick goals of their 3 goal comeback to tie the game, & win it later in the shootout.
A current mounting 1-4-1 downfall following their 9-1-1 hot streak through Thanksgiving Eve, was enough to keep Gorton and Company working OT in having 5 days off until next facing the Panthers. Lineup alterations are likely along with a possible move or two from elsewhere, both due also in part to the team's injury toll.
Being out shot in SOG by a combined 222-162 for their last 6 games (for an Avg./Gm. of 37-27) is only one issue. An even worse Shots Attempted deficit also depicts their loose defensive play, mainly due to an increase in odd man rushes against them, along with general, missed defensive coverage otherwise. This game's key missed coverage was with Chytil & Claesson failing to see and pick up and cover Bryan Little stationed nearby them alone to Hank's left on his tying goal with 2:30 remaining, for which Hank had no chance to prevent that rebound from occurring off his quick reaction left pad save.
