I'll definitely yell "shoot" loudly into the person in front of me if needed.
Someone needs to yell "shoot" at practice on the pp.

He's stil playing and could end up with 400 wins.
Those are hall of fame numbers.
#1 US goalie in history
*only 13 goalies in nhl history with 400 wins
He would pass the dominator |

Zemgus Girgensons is maybe the best Latvian hockey player in history. Not a HHOFer
Miller had one great year, been around a long time. No cups, no gold. He's Chris Osgood without the cups

So is it acceptable to yell "SHOOOOOOT" every time Tage touches the puck?
Asking for a friend. - CoHo_to_B-Lo
It is acceptable to yell Shoot at any and all times the Sabres have the puck. Offensive end, d-zone, powerplay, penalty kill...you miss 100% of the shots you don't take...Gretzky said that, he has got to be right...all the good teams shoot. |

Miller is a weird case.
his numbers are good, his win totals put him with some of the best all time.
Longevity is part of your career and should be looked at when looking at HOF status.
The thing with miller is outside of his Two year string, playoff and Olympic year. He was good, never great.
He may get in. I honestly don't know

Right behind chris osgood.
Still playing hockey
400 gets him in.

Eh, it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Good. Hence why Osgood isn't in, even though he has the cups |

Saying Miller is the winningest US goalie is not a case for the HHOF
Niemi is the first Finnish goalie to win a cup. Not a HHOFer |

The fact that Miller hasnt won a gold or cup yet could hurt.
He's a likeable guy. That helps. Hockey family
41 wins out of 69 games played
40 wins out of 63 games he played.
Those in my opinion are "great" seasons
Couple of high 30 win seasons too

Osgood is still eligible right?
He has 401 .
Miller passes 400 wins, he gets strong consideration |

Not sure. He's been looked at for a few years now. If he gets in, then Miller has a better shot. I personally think Osgood does not deserve to go in.
I also don't see why nationality would have a bearing on whether or not someone gets in |

Could be US goalies are more of a house hold name.
Osgood was kinda a back up, then starter, then back up
Definitely on a really good team for a number of years |

Then why isn't John Vanbiesbrouck in?
He also got further than Miller did in the playoffs
Miller has 1 thing that might get him in the conversation and that's the Vezina trophy
But he only has 1 of those.

Trophies matter, runner ups don't though
Had they won gold I think he might have had a better shot at it.
