Any time a group of guys vote, it's part popularity contest.
Miller is a hockey name.
Both uncles played in the nhl I believe
And his brother.
*Which means nothing (drew Miller playing) - Boss34
Ok, if it'll make you feel better, I'll say he's gonna get in

If he hits 400 wins?
Miller's at 374 now.
I say its 50/50 if he wins 400 games in the nhl
Also it's not just the nhl hall of fame, so his international accomplishments should be considered - Boss34
Even though they lost the Gold,
that was a pretty epic performance by him |

It's the same reason no one will ever catch Gretzky's goal counts (apart from him shooting at 5'2" goalies wearing youth street hockey gear half his career). The goalie position is so much better - jcragcrumple

In all seriousness- Allen looks MORE ready. - Boss34
We all knew the kid needed time
I still don’t understand why me saying that was such a point of contention on here?
He definitely looks like he’s understanding the position better in these last 2 starts vs earlier in the season
He’s got the skills, obviously
Just needs the coaching & development
Still plays “back yard football” a bit though
(Like on that pass to Clay late in the game)
But he’s definitely getting there
That first pass on that drive was fantastic
Perfect read, perfect timing,
perfect throw
I just wanna keep seeing more of that |

He’s probably a coin flip to get in
The “Fame” part does count for something,
and Miller being a household name (as far as hockey players go) might give him the little extra bump he probably needs |

ESPN has an interview with Skinner up. It's mostly bad, but this is in there:
ESPN: You're a UFA after this season. In a perfect world, how would you like this whole thing to play out?
SKINNER: My agents and I agreed that we would put it on hold until things were more settled because there was so much to adjust to. There's no sense in bringing in anything else that's not needed to be brought into the fold. It's gone pretty well for me, not have to think about that kind of thing. And I think that's how I think it's going to continue to be. When they talk later on, things will work themselves out. But for me, the focus is on playing hockey. These things usually work out for the best.
So hopefully Skinner's camp decides they're ready to talk soon. I hope GMJB is already ready already. |

Josh Allen will probably never have a great competition %
I don't care.
Just go out and make us believe we can win big games with you at qb.
I believe.
The fact that he's an exciting player, is also a bonus- especially live
