It was 5 because the refs did not want things to get out of hand. Getting Reaves out of the game accomplished that.

Dude go watch the ufc if you’re so upset. This sport is about speed and skill, outstanding goal scoring, puck handling and goaltending, etc. There’s no need WHATSOEVER for knock out hits that send innocent athletes into concussion protocol just to satisfy meatheads like you.

Clean hit, as was Wilsons hit a few days back. Well not 'clean' as they were interference, but clean in a sense that they didn't target the head.

10 years ago these 2 would have dropped gloves at the first faceoff they were out there with each other. This is todays nhl, spot picker Wilson refuses to fight Reaves in playoffs, and their other game this year, Reaves takes page out of Wilson’s book and runs him with blindside hit. Justice for all. Regular season ratings have been dropping for the past 5 years. They definitely go up in the playoffs. Nobody wants to watch a non-physical boring ass game. It's up in spots like Buffalo, but it's down overall.

Fair, and I think he knew Reaves was coming for him. If not however, he knew pretty early on in the game when Reaves followed him around the ice. But Wilson just came back and is on a heater and (unlike 4 hrs ago) he’s playing L1 Wing. Club doesn’t want him in the box. This is no secret.
