My biggest disappointment was when Berglund said he doesn't like playing center. I thought he'd be able to step into the second line center role if needed. He is not that guy. I'd do a couple minor things. Waive Elie and Larsson

Didn't catch this one till now. Dahlin played 29:15 last night setting the record for most TOI for a player under 19. Doughty had the record at 29:05. - Sabre_Tooth
Where did you see this? Just curious, not saying it's wrong or anything. I thin it's pretty cool!

okposo to ontario to play with moulson - homiedclown
Its sad really. What a poop deal. I would be perfectly happy giving away one of our first rd picks to unload that giant bird of a contract. Botts and pegulas need to fight for a compliance buyout before the expansion draft otherwise. He looks like a boat anchor now, give it 4!!! more years. (frank).

Okposo is putting up decent points with out eichel.
You guys crack me up with your waivers. We've played the best lines in the NHL recently, and Phil matches Larsson's line again them every night. Even if you hate the guy, accept that JB/Phil would never even consider doing that.

I do, and I did.
Also, maybe he always starts in the D zone because Phil knows it's a waste to play them in the O zone cuz they still won't score

I thought that line played well against the Matthews line last night. There were several times where they had the Matthews line trapped in their own zone.
where do they separate sides in soccer ? Not at MLS games here in the states. maybe in Spain, Argentina or Brazil ? - 22sabresQ
Europe mostly. They take their soccer very seriously.
This one happened in Egypt:
But there were a lot of problems at the World Cup in Russia this summer too. 2 died in Paris after France won. There are a lot of problems at every World Cup and Euro tournament. Russia and Poland aren't exactly the best of friends and when they play each other poop usually goes down. English and Russian fans went at it in the 2016 Euro. I could go on, and on, and on.
Talent wise alone, it would be nice to have O'Reilly, but it sure feels like there was something to the narrative that he was disrupting the locker room. Team feels tighter this year, playing harder and all pulling together. It's been discussed and sort of confirmed by Ray and Hamilton as well, without their actually calling out O'Reilly. For that reason, I'm not looking in the rear view mirror at O'Reilly one bit. - Angler
ROR had 7 5v5 goals last year in 1172 minutes for .36 goals per 60. Mittelstadt already has 3 in 321 for .56. Zone starts are pretty wildly out of whack with ROR at 57 in the D-Zone last year and Casey with 72 in the O-Zone this year. But Mittelstadt also costs 6 and a half million dollars less than ROR.
Maybe we're missing him on the PP, but it struggled for a good bit last year too before finally warming up.
The depth we were able to add in getting rid of him is paying off. Berglund and Sobotka might not be lighting the league on fire, but they are infinitely better than Criscuolo, Nolan, Griffith, and Wilson.
