They thought they had the game won when it was 2-0 and stopped skating. Simple as that. The refs sucked but this was a dismal performance. |

You guys are a bunch of wet blankets
we've won 15 in a row! It doesn't matter if we got outscored. It doesn't matter if the NHL records it as a loss. At the end of the day a win is a win and i believe it's a win so it must be a win.
You guys are all a bunch of know it alls who can't admit they're wrong. Just because you use fancy stats like "wins and losses" and "goals scored and against"...they don't tell the whole story! They just fit your narrative.

Reinhart should sit after today if we’re goong to be sending messages - sbroads24
Your hatred for Samson is beyond ridiculous in my opinion.
That said, just about everyone that played today "needs a message" sent to them with the exception of Jack. |

Sheary is the only one in the bottom 9 I consistently see working hard and playing tenacious. Time for him to get some more playing time? - OlliJochenin
Sheary, Thompson, Mittelstadt are the only ones with talent who sometimes generate chances.
Okposo looks cooked, Pominville needs talent with him at this point, Sobotka is a 4th liner. Larsson is going back to terrible. Rodrigues has been terrible.

I don’t hate him. I just don’t like to celebrate every single tiny thing he does right, while never criticizing the numerous shifts where he does absolutely nothing, or refuses to carry the puck, or makes a dumb play despite being the smartest player on the planet.
His best pass was on the Giroux game winner today |

It's really ok.
Mittelstadt needs time, Dahlin is doing well.
Scandella and McCabe will help the PK.
I'd love a trade for a center, but waiving a couple guys would suffice as well. This team is not bad, they're very average. They will make the playoffs |

You just like to celebrate and criticize every generic thing that he does wrong.

mittelstadt looked like he was ready to explode for a while and has disappeared for the last 7 or so. him getting it back will make a big difference. |

He was absolutely terrible today, and was the reason we went down 3-2 after a no-look giveaway, while no one was pressuring him on a freaking PP. That’s not a random generic criticism. Overall he’s had a good 20 games after being useless the first 15 yet again.
What’s funny is people are a lot quicker to point out anytime #9 doesn’t back check hard.

Feel bad for him, but that might be an understatement. Obviously, something needs to be done with guys like 17, 10, 22, etc... that bring virtually nothing to the table. As evident by today, the fanbase is clearly not patient enough to watch these guys go out there and be paid to suck. At least some of the Roch guys may, at the very least, be entertaining to watch |

I mean, I get it, but Berglund, Larsson and Thompson combined for 0 offensive zone starts today. They aren’t being expected to score or put in a position to.
Berglund led the team with 7 D zone starts.
He’s being used as a 4th line defensive player, and has been fine.
Put him in the top 9 and he still does nothing, I’ll agree |

You dont get it. We can only bash Eichel when he isn’t scoring and only getting assists during a 10 game win streak. Reinhart getting a primary assist on Giroux’s shorty to start the onslaught we have to push under the rug. |

This. I can only speak for myself but I would really love this team to make the playoffs. A game like this, which I believe they let get away, could haunt them at the end of the season. They are not in a position at this point in their development to "take a night off." |

He’s made some great plays recently, but I’ve never seen a fan base so quiet when a “key” player is bad or just plain invisible like he can be. |

Further to this, Housley said in post game that once they (sabres) got the lead, they thought it would be easy. Is it not up to the coach to do something about that attitude. |

Yea he did a great job leaving the puck for Eichel and moving out of the way just in the Knick of time so he didn’t get run over by a moving train on that first goal. |

And he lost the key draw that led to the first Philly goal. This argument only works if he's good at his job, which he isnt.
And larsson doesn't take o zone draws because there's a 0% chance he would score if given one.
He sucks, point blank |

I cannot believe anyone is defending Larsson.
We have one first line and 3 fourth lines.

The more I think about this the more I really think they screwed this up... Mitts should be in Rochester... Hopefully this won't have any long term repercussions. |
