Love that ‘he was admiring his pass’ argument,.. late hit, but he didn’t drive the elbow to the head. Fine no suspension imo.
And Jack Edwards is a dou he, but he’s OUR dou Che. - 77emac77
It's not a justification, Hyman's hit was late. What I was trying to say was the Bruins are known as a tough team that walks that line, playing on the edge. It's a strategy that works extremely effectively, especially against younger teams like the Leafs. It gets teams emotional and mad which throws them off their game. The consequence of making teams angry and lose control is that they get angry and they lose control.
McAvoy should know that stuff like that can happen and protect himself, he can't be admiring his passes or lose focus because the hits are coming. On top of that, he has to know that his boarding hit on Marner, a smaller, and arguably the Leafs' best player, would have some kind of retaliation coming.
In general I just think McAvoy could a bit more aware of the situation the game is in, otherwise he could end up with another injury. Not arguing the validity of the hit, just thinking about a different perspective on it. |

A total dive by McAvoy. Another example of the disproportionate nature of any punishment on the Leafs that involves the Bruins. Bruin players can run around and do whatever they want, but a Leaf touches them and Jeremy Jacobson is on the phone dictating to the league what the suspension will be. Leo Komorov is still struggling with the lyme desease he got when Marchand licked him. The only reason the Bruins have any success against Toronto is fear of lyme desease. |

Meh. The Patriots will always draw more attention while Brady/Bellichick are still here. Just come off a Sox championship and the Celtics are playing much better.
The Bruins have almost always taken the backseat in Boston. Has more to do with the soul less female genitalia who owns the team than it does fan interest. The dark days of the Joe Thornton era and cheaping out during the 1988 and 1990 cup runs also didn't help things.
Lastly NESN is (frank)ing putrid. Jack Edwards and Dale Arnold are the worst human beings.

That’s actually not a crazy suggestion. Try him at LW, he could still move back to the point to Qb the PP... hmmm....

Krug is not a forward, he generates his speed and his awareness with the play in front of him, I dont think he has the quickness to be a forward, SO what about that Bullsh** article in the Bullsh** Boston Globe that has talk about a RNH for Krug swap, obviously the B's would need to add a Heinen or Donato type forward, and Obvioulsy I think Chia pet balks at any move with the Bruins without DeBrusk in it. which to me ends the conversation.
But what y'all think, I DO NOT want to move Krug, but this is where they are right now because management didn't add that Top-6 guy they needed in the off season

its funny, I never liked Arnold, his smug "im better than thou" attitude on the radio made me change the station, and he's not good on tv either, Jacks a clown, he makes me laugh, you know what you get with him, Arnold must have naked pics of Jacobs though, he continues to suck, and they continue to hire him. |

Dale Arnold is spineless human vanilla. He would let Jacobs bang his wife if that's what JJ wanted. |

Why need to add a top player with Krug.
Krug has basically same amount of points as RNH and he is a D... Krug even has a better career high in points sure |

Nugent-Bustkins sucks. Hard pass. I wouldn't give up Zboril for him. Getting rid of Krug for a 1st overall pick who hasn't sniffed 60 pts is a really stupid idea.
Besides. He isn't a big tough guy, he doesn't fight so idiot Bruins fans over the age of 35 will say "He's sawft, they need to trayd him fah a powah fourwid kid. Back in my day blah blah Neeley, yada yada Jay Miller, something something Stan Jonathan" |
