Um, eichel has scored the Sabres last 4 goals in 2 periods.
Your right, its eichel's fault.

How many goals has Hutton scored?
The slug has played twice as many minutes as any one else ....
Result? 0-0-0

Only if you hand pick the parameters.
Last 17 games
Second half of last season
Eichel had more goals in yesterday's first period then anyone in his draft?
Am I doing this right? - Boss34

If you replaced Eichel with a clone of Reinhart we’d be worse then the tank years. |

Eichel sucks, his last name isn't McDavid
Ek9 was "the best player on the team" last year
Sabres are never going to replace his scoring on the wing.
Clank sucked - Boss34
Eichel sucks because he's not the same player as Matthews or McDavid.
He's never going to score, and he's only leading both of those guys in head-to-head match-ups.
He's also only single-handily carrying the offense for the Sabres. Whatta loser.
Reinhart is amazing; he has more points than William Nylander this season. |

He is our entire team. Top 5 in the NHL in assists, 3rd in the league in shots on goal with a shooting percentage that’s starting to come back to his career average, he breaks the puck out of our zone, brings the puck into the opposing zone. He’s a possession machine. He controls the puck longer in one game then anyone else on our team does in 5 games. |

Willie's contract of $6.96 AVV pays $114,098.40 per point, based on his 61 the past 2 seasons.
Perhaps JBotts should offer that to Sam.
In fact, give him $90,000 per point while playing with Jack...
and $138, 196.80 for each away from Jack.
Seems fair to me. |

Now who is cherry picking timing...????? 2 periods over how many games 30??? this sounds like sam excuse.
look, I really don't have a problem with Eichel, I also don't have an issue with Sam, But see how easy it is to fine a reason to female dog about someone if you want too????
Sam, Jack, Jeff, Rasmus, and maybe two three other guys are NOT what is wrong with this team.... WHY are the guys on the 2nd and 3 lines getting the pass and everything is sam's fault... its over the freaking top. the guy that's on pace for 60-70 points in not what is wrong with this team, the guys on pace for 0-30points are (because we have way to many of them). |

Someone like Griffin Reinhardt?
Eichel is the best talent in this city since the superbowl years and the dominator years.
Dude is a complete stud. Even more fun in person.
But, he hit the goal post. Thus CLANK

I've stated numerous times that Sam's playing good.
He's made some nice passes.
Seriously though, do you think it has anything to do with eichel?
Notice the living legend Jason pominville isn't on eichels line. Strangely he isn't scoring anymore?
" I have no problem with him"
You shouldn't, eichel has 36 points in 30 games this year.
Imagine if the pressure of the whole franchise was on your back?
It's easy to be the other, older second overall pick.
No pressure, no expectations.
He didn't pick himself second right?

Sam Reinhart is having a very good, almost great, season so far.
And people here defend Larsson.
Eichel is playing at a very high level.
Phillip/Jason needs to shake up the roster/lines.
Waive a guy, scratch a guy, call up a guy. - BeadyEyedDouche
True Story: Reinhart is on pace for 68 points. |

Fair enough.
From my perspective, I would think an owner worth $4B could pony-up the majority if they will profit...and lessen the burden on the tax-payers ... then hike the prices of tickets to properly charge those who see the value...such as you.
Just my thoughts on what traditionally has been the model... to early to tell if the Pegula's will be outside that model.
Let's hope so. - IonSabres
Except there's absolutely no reason for him to pony up anything more than about 30%-40%. The Raiders are only coming up with $750M out of the $1.8B for their new stadium in Las Vegas. Buffalo can't afford to come up with the rest, we don't have 47 million hotel rooms to tax like Las Vegas does to come up with $850M(The NFL is coming up with some and there's another like $80M from somewhere else that's why those numbers don't add up). |

If he didn't want to have the pressure of being the whole franchise don't sign a 10 million dollar deal.... but if you do you better score goals as well as make your line mates better... He's done the later... he needs to score more goal though sorry but that's the reality..
Would I like to see sam be Jack 2.0 sure, he not he's never going to be..ANYONE that thought he would be is a fool. He still a (frank)ing good player we need. |

Those are both great points.
It really doesn't matter how rich a person is. Human instinct and business sense makes the pegula's want to spend other people's (tax) money.
The revenue from a building of this magnitude will definitely offset some of the costs.
Imagine the construction jobs? Income tax
Imagine the revenue of the surrounding businesses?
This would be good for buffalo.
And I completely agree that the tickets should go up in price. The people that enjoy the facilities should pay more. - Boss34
Other than income tax which mostly goes to the state. The construction jobs for a couple years, big deal. I know construction workers now who haven't been laid off in 10 years. The work never stops. And as far as boosting the economy it's been shown the cost eats almost all of the benefit of having a team. |

I mean, honestly...I don't care since I don't live there anymore.
Got sick of the high taxes, slow economy, and the weather for 8 months of year.
While it would be cool to see the area flurish and be able to support such an evolutionary multipurpose building which leverages the common structural elements to maximize cost efficency, I just don't see it happening since 8t will require the state, county and city governments to work together. |
