Silent Sam is on a 7 game point streak. He is the king of producing points and not even noticing him on the ice for 70% of his TOI so kudos to him.

I can see a trade coming either before or immediately following the holiday freeze (12/19-12/28.)
With Hunwick coming back soon (currently on a conditioning stint in Roch) and a few other injured guys coming back soon that will leave us with 6 LD and 4 RD. Only Pilut and Dahlin are waiver exempt and neither should be sent down. Lord Tennyson can be sent to Cincy and no one would claim him, but that would still leave us with nine dmen. I'm not sure what teams are in need of defense, but I would think we could make a package of D, prospect and picks if needed to bring in an upgrade at wing or 2C. |

if you want the center, you need to move mccabe
if you want cap relief and a prospect, you move scandella
the big question long term, dahlin can play either side so do you figure on dahlin as your number 1 lefty, or have a combo of risto and dahlin on the right side
if dahlin and risto are meant to be on the ice together, and IMO they should
then I would rather have mccabe/bogo for second pair instead of scandella/bogo
so I would move scandella |

Who's going to go? Scandella? Gotta be a $ in $ out deal. If you want a 2c you probably have to shed his 4M. |

Pretty crazy how nobody seems worried about bogo anymore. He has been pretty serviceable this year. |

He has his bonehead caveman moments but yeah, surprisingly decent. Shocks me with his speed sometimes. |

Makes me cringe with the puck in his own end, but been solid defensively. |

Bogo has been better than serviceable. Nice to see him actually playing hockey games. His return to the line-up as a pretty good defenseman goes underrated in the reasons why the team has made such a turn around this year, in my opinion. |

SHHHHHHHHH Don't say the name otherwise something will change. Just let Bogo keep doing his job and people forget about him. He's playing quality hockey. |

Beaulieu and McCabe both LD and both RFAs at seasons end could attract some interest. Guhle as well, but doesn't help the logjam with the big team. Scandella would be the most likely to go in order to match salaries. Hunwick is a big question mark, and I don't see him having much value (also if he is trade our 4th round pick to Pittsburgh turns into a 3rd.)
Rangers are in 11th place in the East and are not likely to resign Kevin Hayes. Would Scandella Guhle and a 2nd get a trade done? Too much? |

If Scans wasn't making 4+M I don't know if he would get the flack he does.... If he was a 2-2.5M guy on the 3rd pairing I think most would be happy.
According to LWLock we've been running:
Dahlin/Bogo
Pilut/Risto
NB/Tennyson
Once McCabe gets healthy or Guhle gets called up then the whole Scans/Tenny thing would be at rest. |

I see we are feeding a fed horse with the same topics...
We should grab the rose by the thorn and come up with something else to talk about
Then, just maybe, we can bring home the bagels. - Whatnot78
I'm no expert but isn't force feeding a living horse more cruel than beating a horse that is already dead?

I think Hayes has his eyes on joining Johnny hockey
I really don’t want us moving draft picks when we should keep on building and drafting
