Yes.

I had the chance to heckle him back in his OHL days shortly after Boston had drafted him. My heckle line was 'Rather have Kessel' clap clap clap clap clap. One night he was sitting in the penalty box and I was giving it to him hard...! lolol good times!

The Jared Knight hype was hilarious.

For everyone advocating a Hamilton trade to the Leafs, shame on you.

The guy is a fecking pylon.

Kinda what I said a while ago that I don't like hamilton. I think he's overrated. I wouldn't trade Nylander for him

Most of those Nylander trade ideas from the media was a joke. Travis Sanheim? Montour?

I was told he's a number one dman?

I am not sure what number he is...but lets just say if he was a leaf he would be the best D they have on the right side by a (frank)ing huge margin

Here are the bottom 3 teams from each division excluding our own:

Carolina, Philly, New Jersey
Minny, St.Lo, Chicago
Vancouver, Arizona, LA

I would imagine you target these teams for trades?? I could throw out some crazy trade ideas here, but I will leave that to everyone else... I will say, there are some decent players on these teams... who would have predicted some of these standings at the start of the year? I mean come on, Chicago has lost 8 STRAIGHT!!! And I think everyone thought St.Louis was going to have a good team. I say strike while you have a chance and try to pry away a good d-man from one of these teams...

- Hockey_Reverend

The only teams you really want to deal with are those wanting prospects and picks. Don't want to gut the roster.

Id look at Chicago, LA, Florida, Vancouver and St Louis(maybe).

I'd try to get Tanev, Keith ( salary retained), Muzzin, Petrovic, Schmaltz, Bortuzzo, Mcquaid

How long before the media is making Nylander not having a goal yet a huge issue, now that he has his first points?

Did you not see (hear) Ray Ferraro rip into Bryan Hayes on TSN radio?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_2rf1Xa1lU

Babs in the presser last night talked about the sports medicine dude saying it takes 12 days to get your heart rate/various levels (probably VO2 Max, etc.) up to snuff after sitting for 8 months, because no matter how hard you train/skate, it's nothing compared to game condition.

What's funny is that Ray totally called it: 2 weeks to get up to speed.

Keith (1.5mil retained) for Conditional 1st (winning a playoff round), Rosen and Bracco
- AdamFrench

Hummm, he's a lefty and his base salary decrease each year.
He's 35 now and his contract end in 2022-23. 4 more years after this one.
He's be a candidate as an island guest soon.

I like Hayes a lot, but that was stupid what he was saying. He needs to think differently from moron fans who expect miracles because he held-out and got a lot of $. Irrelevant to how many games you give Nylander.

It's a risky contract. I'd rather go younger.

Nylander is a bit slow at the moment because he doesnt use hockey pads anymore, he tapes bricks of cash around his body for padding, so its going to take a few weeks to get used to that.

Good protection though. The trade off might be worth it for Softslimelander.

It's true.

With a contract that bad, no other team wants to touch Nylander.

A 1st, Rosen, and Bracco for Old Man Keith at 4M AAV? Hard pass.

Also, the Leafs don't need another LHD.
