At the expense of Sandin, LIljegren, Kapanen? They aren't trading all of them.

They don't need Simmonds. Let a team that actually needs a forward to trade for him.

Oh (frank) yeah.

I am also saying this without knowing what Johnnson or Kap wants on a deal....For all we know Kapanen could be saying "I want to be here long term and will sign a team friendly deal to do so" while Johnnson wants full value...

If they both want full value then one of them has to go...we can't afford another two 3+ million dollar contracts next season. Why not use one of them for a D this deadline?

Let me know when you have some reading comprehension and come back to talk.

You didn't understand any of my post. I said one of Sandin or Liljegren. Noth both.

Yup, his 31 thoughts is always a good read. He knows his stuff and has good sources.

People just need to realize when he says "he guesses" its just and educated guess. Not a true fact.

We ain't getting anything for career AHLer, Kasperi Kapanen.

He'll never make the show.

He's showing promise to help you out in fantasy leagues in years to come! How's the tinier one doing? I know you have two kids and my friend recently made a chart that says difficulty level of children is low at 1 then skyrockets at 2.

Both kids are fine. And maybe I should follow his advice and always pick the coolest logo or the coolest sounding team names in my fantasy picks.

I'd say you're friend is mostly right.

But I think it's mostly because of the current age of both.

My son is 4 years old, pretty easy to handle but still requires us to pay attention to him alot.... while the baby girl, being a year and a half old..... well doesn't understand much, voices her needs VERY CLEARLY AND LOUDLY and doesn't tolerate us giving her brother any of the time he needs....

So yeah.... difficulty is at "insane" levels.

Let's just say there won't (shouldn't) be a third little monster in the house.

No, because when Auston was in grade 8, his geography class took a trip to Houston.

Since then, he's always wanted to play hockey there.

The offer sheet is real.

- Atomic Wedgie

Andy Petrillo was on the morning drive show today ....she was fear mongering that the real threat to the Leafs was offer sheets to Johnsson and Kapanen.

Bracco is the next one to never make an impact.

I look forward to him not making an impact on the 2020-21 Leafs.

I wonder how much his production will fall off while he's away from the first line.

A) Alot
B) Considerably
C) He'll never score again

So Matthews has been injured for a year and a half and has no real expectation of returning to the major leagues?

I doubt either gets that much. Comps for KK should be about 2.5 x 2 and Johnsson gets a big league contract that starts with a "1".

Mine are 10 years apart. I avoided that problem entirely. I also had the girl first so she's super helpful and motherly to her brother. It's win/win.

Toronto media needs to get off the idea of offer sheets and how every single decent "young player" is inherently the core and will/never should be replaced.
