oh haha. ya he's real injury prone, but in general I like the idea of a strong defensive winger that's going to turn Bo's line into a shutdown while still chipping in quite a bit.
Stone, Palat, Swartz, Niedorieter would also be nice.
There's cheap options though, MB's Armia pickup was a sly move. Be nice if it was a younger guy you didn't pay a mint for. Tuch is another, but I think they love him in LV. Silferburg, but he's another of those guys that gets hurt a lot it seems. I'm all for this move, essentially LE but someone much younger and trending up (not a guy in the twilight of his career) this time. - neem55
Silverberg who missed 9 games over the past 4 seasons? |

Now you're making sense. Bo needs a consistent linemate - I would love to see him and jake stay together for the rest of the year - and see how Sven does with them when he comes back - don't think Goldy fits on that line. - Brooks_Light
I honestly think JV is one of those pieces if he continues on his current trajectory, he causes a fair amount of turnovers and is not bad in his own end. But I still think a big bad Stone.
My UFA wish list:
Stone
Myers
Panarin
Lee
Silferburg
Nelson
karlsson is absent on purpose, I just don't think it's a good call. Quinn changed things. |

Is that all?! wow I stand corrected. Ya he's a UFA. He's on my wish list above, might be higher now as I thought he was injured more for sure. |

Can you imagine Bo, Stone, Jake - thats a dynamic line
Some other UFAs next year that would be an interesting fit with Bo
Skinner - expensive but if money wasn't an issue and we were closer to contention.
Anders Lee - just coming off a 34 & 40 goal seasons, Lee, Bo, Virt would be a heavy trio but probably too expensive
Dzingel - affordable but probably similar to Sven
Ferland - this one is the most intriguing to me for so many reasons

I think Silverberg has missed 3 this season already! I think you may be thinking about Rakell. He plays low 70's every season. |

I still see a playmaking winger as the best fit for Bo's play style. Palat and Schwartz would be ideal. Obviously not as pressing of an issue as fixing the defense, but man it would be fun to have 2 lines that can light it up. |

I was surprised when i saw that Rakell had just about the same amount of points in 100 less games then Silverberg.
You're buddy Berggren is starting slow in the SHL this season. 3 points in 16 games and now he's hurt I believe. |

only 5 goals in 30 games this year but 15 assists - is he turning into a playmaker? |

yeah, that's pretty bizarre for him, especially since he's playing with a great passer in Getzlaf. |

long term project, game is too fast for him right now from what I've seen |

Honestly he's not getting much ice time since he's returned from injury - he played tonight with McMaster and Cameranesi so that didn't help much - but he played quite well. Came close to scoring and almost set up a goal. Kids gonna need a full 2 years in Utica, needs a skating coach this summer too. |

Definitely long term. Torn between him and Gad getting made look stupid every night vs learning to be a better overall play in the CHL. |

Needs to hit the gym hard as well, we know he's not afraid to mix it up, but if you wanna do that in the pros you gotta have some decent strength to back it up |

I understand the development process but I think him going back to junior and just growing as a player would be better than throwing him to the wolves and hoping he starts running faster sooner rather than later. |

I like Ferland, forgot about him and he's shown he can play top6 and is young. He's added on my wish list for sure.
Dzingel i don't know if he's top 6 but he's good, maybe I'd add him but low as we have bottom6.
Skinner is pass for me. All offence, no D. He's a top line guy, doesn't make much sense with Bo IMO.
I love Lee. Fully expect him to resign in NYI, but he's up there for me. and I agree, very heavy line. |

That's what the AHL is for. He's reached the top of WHL, don't think going down would help his confidence. Keep going, he's having a rough start. So what. He'll get there, just going to take time. |

If he reached the top of the WHL, I don't think he would look so bad in the AHL.
Drake Batherson has 20 points in 14 games.
Mason Shaw has 17 points in 24 games. He didn't even play last season.
Tyler Benson has 16 points in 21 games.
(frank) Dillon Dube has 4 points in 4 games. |
