Schartz has missed about 170 games since he got to the NHL

He's never had the protection of Gudbranson

If he reached the top of the WHL, I don't think he would look so bad in the AHL.

Drake Batherson has 20 points in 14 games.

Mason Shaw has 17 points in 24 games. He didn't even play last season.

Tyler Benson has 16 points in 21 games.

(frank) Dillon Dube has 4 points in 4 games.

Lind will be fine. The kid is good and will put it together. Has lots of support and drive. Not worried.

He's had Bortuzzo for 4 years.

Schwartz is the forward version of Tanev it seems. Just poop luck. Jaden is a really good 195 foot player.

Are you suggesting Bortuzzo is as tough/intimidating as Gudbranson?

Exactly. He probably takes runs at Schwartz during practice

Rakell is pretty underrated, that boy can snipe.
- Nucker101

He went to the all star game, he ain’t that underrated. Also he’s been only ok this year.

Having a good support system and passion to improve are definitely huge for a developping player, so I'm not too worried about him either.

I did find it disappointing though when i saw him play last year in Vic and he was mostly invisible. Looked too soft on the puck at times but clearly had some hockey IQ that others don't at that level.

He'll end up throwing at his kid at a father/son baseball game.

"It’s funny because everyone says, defensively, I’m not the best. But that was what my dad stressed the most. That was the most important thing to him. My plus/minus was the highest on the team at Michigan and I was only on the ice for one goal against (for Team USA) at the world championships and it was against South Korea. And we won 13-1. I feel very confident defensively."

Even Quinn Hughes cares about his plus/minus.

Suck it plus/minus haters.

Boeser with ZERO power play goals this season so far

Remember when EP couldn't keep up his shooting percentage well 27 games in and he is still at 28.1

Leipsic 3 points in 5 games with LA.

Petrus Palmu Heading Back To Finland
DECEMBER 13, 2018 AT 9:03 AM CDT | BY GAVIN LEE LEAVE A COMMENT

After struggling to find consistent ice time with the Utica Comets, Vancouver Canucks prospect Petrus Palmu is heading back to Finland for the rest of the season according to Rick Dhaliwal of Sportsnet. Palmu signed his three-year entry-level contract last spring, leaving TPS in the Finnish Liiga to return to North America, where he’d played three years of junior hockey in the OHL. It’s unclear whether the Canucks will terminate his contract or simply loan him to a team in Finland at this point, but the latter seems more likely given agent Todd Diamond’s comments to Dhaliwal on the situation:

Young players have to play, Petrus is relieved. He is a competitive guy and just wants to play. He is still a part of the Canucks future, yes I believe that.

The PP hasn’t looked great lately, hope Boeser gets his looks on that shortly.

Good on Leipsic, hopefully he keeps it up. But we all know he was the Biega of forwards

Petrus Palmu has signed to play the rest of the season in Finland. Struggled to get in lineup in Utica, 12 games and 1 point with Comets. Better to play than sit. #Canucks

Young players need to play, don't know what his chances are (NHL) but I'm sure he'll be happier.

#Canucks prospect Michael DiPietro stops 18 of 19 shots in 30 minutes of action for Team Canada - as they beat the USports All-Star team 3-2 in a shootout.

Team Canada selection camp is under way. WJC are getting closer.

Burkie on Canuck moves : They need to sign Brock first, period. Number two they need to see what they have on the blue line. They know what they have up front. I'm not sure there will be a lot there on July 1 this year so they may have to continue to draft and develop their own.

Draft and develop

Strickland reporting Blues are open for business, might be some interesting trades before the 19th. Not really a fit for the Canucks but some better teams might go full retard?
