What are these rumors we are talking to the Blues for Terensako (Spelling) and pieteangelo (def spelling)?

One or both of those is going to cost bigly. You aren't staying with a draft and develop strategy with that kind of deal.

Teams that lose and have higher expectations...their best players become rumors every year.

Why play him when the team sucks and he could get injured.

Morin will probably get hurt and if you are adding a vet D there's no room for him

It’s nonsense imo but we shall see. Eklund is excited to be able to talk about the Flyers.

Realistically I see them trying to save the year by trading for a goalie.

I’m just low key excited about the idea of a top 5 pick so I’d actually lean to sticking with Elliot/Stolarz for now.

Couldn't this be applied to Giroux, Ghost, Provorov, Patrick, Konecny, Sanheim, etc?

Yes, but he's expected to be ready to play in 2 months or so. This article says they shouldn't let him.

Wouldn't it be smarter to try signing Stone this offseason and moving Voracek separately?

Unpossible.

Yes, but the context was based off him being out the year recovering from a serious injury. Why risk further damage in this case.

Lol go look at the ice times for the D and let me know. Take a peek at the ice time of Weise for example when compared to some others.
- flyer_nutter

Ice time is based on game situations and not the fantasy land rule of play the crap out.of the young players.

I agree that you don't play him if he's not 100%. But if he's fully healed, why keep him in the pressbox? Wouldn't it be nice to get him in some game action so he can hit the ground running next year?

What I have a problem with is according to the ice times given to players, the coach obviously does not trust most of the lineup in many situations. Why would these players be on the roster then?

My thought process in that situation is "I have no use for these players, give me players I can use".

I didn't say I agree with the article, someone asked for a short version of it. There is zero way of knowing if the player is 100% until they play in game situation. Skating around the rink doesn't tell the whole story, but in this situation he may get 2-4 weeks tops after a conditional assignment with the big club...is it worth it to throw him in to test?

Trades always have to be lopsided so it is easy for fans to tell who won, no one got time to wait years to see how it pans out.

There is no short term or long term upside in using Weise in all situations.
