well earned point tonight. Their compete level was higher than it has been. They played well most of the game and should have won but can't feel bad about how they played most of the game. Good things are happening.

I describe this game as the hawks playing well enough to lose. Both teams playing their 3rd in 4 nights. Jets didn't seem to have much to offer this game but that's good enough to beat the hawks.

Another Gus brain cramp on pp leads to the break away goal but he gets it back in the final with one helluva of one-timer from the blue with 2 jets and an hawk providing a screen.

Make this a guy a forward because he is liability as a Dman.

until the hawks figure it out defensively and stop expecting their goaltending to bail them out facing 35 plus SOGs and giving 3 plus every game...they are going to lose.
That is the 27th game of 34 where they allowed 3 or more in regulation.

Doesn’t just happen - a positive decision by Keith to take a shot that had almost no chance of going in - and losing possession 3x3.

The shot Keith took in OT would have been a bad decision even if a good shooter took the shot because it was a low percentage shot which almost assuredly would result in the other guys getting possession of the puck ... but Keith with his embarrassing pop gun shot taking that shot should be worthy of a game in the press box. That play was selfish or stupid or both.

Absolutely agree. Plus I just don't like Toews and Kane together. I'd rather see Toews and Debrincat, then Kane and Saad, or Kampf and Kahun....obviously changes needed if play is stopped for a faceoff. Need a centerman for possession.

The best possession guys are Gustaffson and Joki.

I would just like to see some of the younger guys given a chance since there is no way this team makes the playoffs . The only way they'll develop is if they play.

I'm unhappy with the result, but happy overall with the game. They played great and fought back out there. Winnipeg is a tough ass team. I'm not going to dissect the ot goal, because what's the point? It's a loss to be proud of, well, I am. It's a hawks team I haven't seen in a while that isn't just going through the motions, they play with emotion.

toews was in front for the screen or deflect; the shot was to high and hit toews...

not the greatest decision but i see why he took it

Weak goal by Crow, but Keith and Kane stood there like pylons, maybe don't give him the shot as such close range, Hawks looking a lot better overall, some good structure on the lines and on d, didn't win but got a point against a tough Jets team, at least keep up that kind of effort, will bode well for next year hopefully.
