Hahahaha!

He's talented with a piece off wood in his hand, who's to say he couldn't handle a goalie stick? He does wonders for Def, how about our Blind team?

the two OT games which they loss required last second heroics to get it OT or they would be 1-13

ya think an early 2 zip lead would generate the mo and carry them to victory but no they get outscored 7-1 the rest of the way lowlighted by putrid special teams play

their rock and best player over the last 5 years gets barreled and no response of any kind with their play...this team is lost and broken

time to take an early christmas break...this team has demonstrated its not worth my time and effort to tune in...besides the next 3 games look like sure losers and this team has no life to it at all...

i turn it over to you olduffman to continue waving the red/black/white pom poms...

2013 was incredible, but 2010 is my favorite team of all time. Nemo was a whatever goalie, but game 6 v Philly he made some KEY saves late in regulaton and OT to help the Hawks win, so he gets kudos, but Crow was way better by far....had we had Nemo in 2013 - 2015 we may not win another Cup and we certainly don't get through Minnesota in 2014, the Wild actually were the better team in 2014, but Crow was at the top of his game, ditto early in that Blues series, Crow was so good in those years. He still is, but he was a man then.

Yes - it was a Thursday - not a B to B.

Flashback - too much bad stuff in the 60s, I guess....

I'd say the odds the Hawks are NOT a lottery team are near zero.

Only question is will they finish with the worst record/point total.

If CC is out long term again...I say yes. 65 points give or take.

you might be too generous...this team may not make 12 regulation wins...currently at 6...

If only they showed some improvement - some sense that they know how to play hockey.

Quick successive goals against, terrible special teams, no pressure or control 5x5, defensive breakdowns, no compete for puck battles at the boards, in the corner, no net front presence, no clearing the enemy away from the goalie....

Same as has been happening all season under both coaches.

Two decent games - then this reversion.

JC confirms that Crawford has a concussion. Hopefully CC takes the time he needs to recover and his career isn’t in jeopardy.

One armed drummer is really awesome, but it is sad, I think Allen could have become one of the great drummers had he not lost that arm. There is really only so much you can do with 3 limbs to really be an expert drummer.

Don't mean to hijack with music talk, but do we REALLY wanna talk about the Hawks tonight?

- kwolf68

Hahaha, it's all good Wolf. It's not just tonight we avoid talking about the Hawks. Bears won, there's that!

Only way we could compete with those two teams would be to get in a Deloreon, go back to 2010 and get that team, stop off in 2013 and pickup crow and return and we could beat the poop out of any team since the 1999 Dead Wings (that would be a tough out, but we could take em).

Those two albums I named are oustanding hard rock albums by far. If you don't like hard rock maybe you won't like it, but they are two of the finest albums of that genre ever.

I like all kinds of music and would NEVER classify myself as a "80s hard rock fan" but some of those tunes were really good. My favorite music ranges everything from the Beatles to Dream Theater to Bad Religion to Yes to Slayer.

They "look good" here and there. In hockey even poopty teams have great moments, my son's AA team (who should NOT BE AA) won 8-2 today, they played a team only marginally less poopty (at least for that level) and we had a great one day, it doesn't mean anything. Hockey? Sometimes you look great, sometimes you look like crap, but most of the time you are what you are, next week when the top team beats us by 6 it will be back to normal. Hawks win against Pens really meant nothing. Overall this team isn't good.
- kwolf68

I really don’t understand how the only play for our D is to throw the puck up the boards or reverse it around the boards. In either case usually the opposing team is pinching/sealing and keeping the puck in. Where the f are our forwards for support? Up the middle of the ice isn’t an option? To me that’s problem #1 with this team. We can’t exit our zone and it results in multiple high danger chances.

It's really sad and unfortunate. I would assume he and the Blackhawks will be very conservative with his return. There is no reason for him to play before the Christmas break, or maybe even for sometime after. This season is lost already. Maybe put him on the DL and bring up someone from Rockford.

I'm cool with hard rock, just can't stand the singer's voice from Def. I'm all over the place and well-rounded with music. Wow, Bad Religion, I didn't think anyone here liked them. My brother is nuts about them. They're cool. I can go along with all of those bands you named.

i have felt sorry for ward this year...no support this year...his team has left him on an island most of his time in net...

what another sorry effort tonight...

now what do they say....

were making progress
still gotta iron out the little things
were getting closer
gotta continue to try to play 60 minutes

I agree can't blame Ward or any goaltender they throw in there, they are hung out to dry everynight.

I was at the game tonight.

I'll always honor and appreciate what Brent Seabrook contributed to 3 Cup teams........but......he cant play anymore.

I watched him a lot. Guys were skating past and around him all night. He looked like a 9 year old playing with adults.

Seabrook is a total liability at this point. His play can’t even be masked by putting him in the 3rd pairing. It’s hard to watch just how far he has fallen, and how he has been totally unable to adapt to his deficencies.

The Hawks goal totals in 5-on-5 rank up there with many of the top teams in the league. The issue is that their PP and PK tank dead last. No team is going anywhere with both special teams ranking at the bottom.

Watching the difference from a good PK team like the Sharks and the Hawks is striking. The Sharks immediately pressure the puck, the Hawks just lay back. On the PP, other teams rarely have issues entering the zone, the Hawks have such a hard time setting up its ridiculous, even 4 on 3 tonight they never really got set. Pitiful.
