I love Bad Religion big time. The rest....way too much. LOL

I'm a Catholic, but more of a Half-lic. I coined that term. I'm bad at practices, and have difficulties with what was crammed down my throat for 12 years in school. I love anything that pokes fun at it all.

Well looks like team trainwreck got back on track tonight...concerned for sure about CC. That was a brutal hit and as usual the Hawks did nothing to respond.

Well looks like Colliton called it they're def. trending in the right direction....pathetic.
Preds up next...

Meantime How Bout Those BEARS!!!! The defense has been stellar...but the Saints are the class of the NFC right now - of course they have Brees and their defense is playing pretty darn well too. Still hoping the Bears might make it that far to take them on...with the Rams losing at home tonight to the Eagles that blown Giants game looks even bigger right now...

At this point our only concern is Crawford’s long term health. If that takes retirement then that’s what Corey should do.

That's a Chreaster, at least what I've always said. I go on Sundays, but not those 2 holidays.

Yes, I did go to MCHS. Why?

HaHa. My wife is Catholic. I am not religious at all, but I do try to respect all viewpoints, within reason. That said, my viewpoint about religion is not very positive and that has nothing to do with a punk rock band. But somehow me and my wife make it work. Though the priest who confirmed her wants to "talk to me". LOL, ok.

If before 95, then yes. My dad went there too, graduated in 85. My dad said he saw Foghat when they came there and played.

On the crawford hit:

1. Strome called it a "hockey play" and said he did not consider the contact from Kane to be intentional.

Agree...strome would have barreled into craw without kanes help

2. and here is the pathetic understatement of the year: "He's been great," defenseman Duncan Keith said. "I think he's been everything we can ask of him. We definitely don't give our goalies much support out there."

leave it at that...

Sorry, you are taking it as a racist comment.

Don’t know how else to take it when in one post you call him a gangbanger and in the other you reference his color. Kane might have been a nasty a**hole on the play, but it had nothing to do with the color of his skin

Crawford’s plight is a symptom of the real issue, and Ward is the next sacrficial lamb.

This team is made up of the softest, contact-averse group of players I have ever seen in the NHL. No one inspires a third thought, let alone a second thought in any opposing team’s roster about playing rough in the Hawk crease, or anywhere else on the rink for that matter.

In building a team like this YOU INVITE injuries.

After all that CC has done during the run, and covering for the post-run stank for play of his so called teammates sincei the run, you are telling me NO ONE pushed back???

If you were CC would you even want to come back?

The guy is a future hall of famer. He deserved better. Let’s just all hope he doesnt become another Joe Murphy.

Hey Spec, off-topic question, how does a fighter pilot become known as an "ace?" If you don't know, that's fine.

the two OT games which they loss required last second heroics to get it OT or they would be 1-13

ya think an early 2 zip lead would generate the mo and carry them to victory but no they get outscored 7-1 the rest of the way lowlighted by putrid special teams play

their rock and best player over the last 5 years gets barreled and no response of any kind with their play...this team is lost and broken

time to take an early christmas break...this team has demonstrated its not worth my time and effort to tune in...besides the next 3 games look like sure losers and this team has no life to it at all...

i turn it over to you olduffman to continue waving the red/black/white pom poms...

- bogiedoc

Not sure “putrid” does this team justice. Didn’t they give up 2 goal in two short-handed situations and go 0 for 4 on their powerplay. It seems like it would be hard to be this bad if you were trying to be this bad.

Maybe they should take the old George Kostanza “Mr. Opposite” approach.

now dead last in the league in both the pk and pp....truly an abomination; tells you how broken and lost this team is: there is no purpose, no structure, no strategy, no compete

Why does the opposing team look like they're skating on European ice when we're on the power play?

Edit: I meant penalty kill, not power play.

JC confirms that Crawford has a concussion. Hopefully CC takes the time he needs to recover and his career isn’t in jeopardy.

Those two albums I named are oustanding hard rock albums by far. If you don't like hard rock maybe you won't like it, but they are two of the finest albums of that genre ever.

I like all kinds of music and would NEVER classify myself as a "80s hard rock fan" but some of those tunes were really good. My favorite music ranges everything from the Beatles to Dream Theater to Bad Religion to Yes to Slayer.
