Ever hear of a CEO Catholic? Goes to Mass on Christmas and Easter Only.

Our parish priest used to call them Creasters. Not sure how he would spell it but my spelling is phonetic.

HaHa. My wife is Catholic. I am not religious at all, but I do try to respect all viewpoints, within reason. That said, my viewpoint about religion is not very positive and that has nothing to do with a punk rock band. But somehow me and my wife make it work. Though the priest who confirmed her wants to "talk to me". LOL, ok.
- kwolf68

Just don’t let him talk to you or go anywhere with him alone....that was the rule my mother imposed on me when I started chatecism decades ago.

now dead last in the league in both the pk and pp....truly an abomination; tells you how broken and lost this team is: there is no purpose, no structure, no strategy, no compete

[quote=I Am The Breadman]I'm a Catholic, but more of a Half-lic. I coined that term. I'm bad at practices, and have difficulties with what was crammed down my throat for 12 years in school. I love anything that pokes fun at it all.
Enough , let's get back to hockey and stop trashing religon.

Hey Spec, off-topic question, how does a fighter pilot become known as an "ace?" If you don't know, that's fine.

Used to be 5 kills in aerial combat.

Just put end of Canucks - Oilers game on. Canucks went to their 5th PP. Scored 3rd PP goal. Hawks can’t even get in the zone, can’t even get a shot and the Canucks are 3 for 5.

His save % is about 85% over the last month
- EnzoD

For many on here it is/was a sin to be critical of Crow but for players in quick motion he loses his net. Shooters scoring easily. It is possible to have BOTH a poor D System AND poor goaltending. Not a good combo.

I wasn’t convinced that Crow was completely symptom free. As one other poster said he did not seem quite right in interviews. Didn’t look good tonight - hoping for the best for Crow.

do us all a favor and take your name calling some where else...whether i use "craw" or "crow" you and every poster understand who I am referring too..

and no i don't say "kanie" or "tayvsie" (I have no idea what you are talking about) and the post you chose comment does not have any mention or crawford or craw or crow...

you have a rough night that ya just had to pick on someone else about something as trivial as this...

there are great posters here but you are one to ignore and avoid...and I will do so in the future

Funniest thing I ever heard in a Catholic Church was said by a cool, older Priest. He said “It was one of those times in the winter, when the weather was so cold and stormy, that only the elderly could make it to Mass.”

At this point our only concern is Crawford’s long term health. If that takes retirement then that’s what Corey should do.

"On the crawford hit:

1. Strome called it a "hockey play" and said he did not consider the contact from Kane to be intentional.

Agree...strome would have barreled into craw without kanes help

2. and here is the pathetic understatement of the year: "He's been great," defenseman Duncan Keith said. "I think he's been everything we can ask of him. We definitely don't give our goalies much support out there."

leave it at that...
- bogiedoc"

Ya think Duncan. DUH

At least he had the guts to say it; how many others have?

Agree! It disgusted me that no one, even had an answer back, even to send a message back to E Vander Kane , don’t expect all out hooliganism, but just the code of the game, I want to know what the hell is Martinson and Hayden‘s purpose on this team? I would love to see the media actually right on TV just torch Stan Bowman and put him right on the hot seat about Some of his decisions this season. And I think boy wonder is in over his head behind the bench. Some of these other NHL coaches are probably laughing there ass off. I hope that Joel does get the flyer job, I like their front office and I think they could turn the team around and actually with the talent they have over there put them in a position To take a run at the playoffs this year. Stan Bowman HAS to get fired at the end of the season. Hopefully some of the other Blackhawk faithful when they see these guys out in public start to make them feel uncomfortable and ask them such questions. Have a good day boys.

True ... he was losing his net a lot -- many just blowing them by him when he was hugging the post (or thought he was). I really feel for the guy, as that didn't look right - not for 50.

I’d rather get good analysis than “inside information”, which usually becomes public rather quickly (and which usually turns out to be rumors that never actualize).

We get good analysis from Justin.

Totally agree. I think he's written some interesting stuff since taking over and I've enjoyed the analysis.

I read his stuff as a fan reporting on the team albeit a pretty objective one.

Agreed 100%. The bullpoop rumours from JJ and his self titled "insider" persona was a farce. Justin is doing a great job posting some pretty decent analysis and opinion, without resorting to pretending he has "sources".

Please. Because you and the other posters are both Neurologists or MDs I’m sure. Regardless of what you think of Bowman, McD, or anyone in the Hawks FO, if you think that he would be back on the ice at anything less than 100% you are just foolish and full of yourself.

His play hasn’t been great, and that can be due to a 10 month layoff, horrible support from his teammates, or maybe even just not playing well and/or having doubts about himself.

It didn’t look good and this may be the end for #50
