They did once, and where contracts that got traded to another team to remove the dead weight. They still had cap hits at the time though, I do beleive. For a player that was already slowing down in LA. They paid him like he was in his prime Boston years. Now we essentially are chained to a 6 million dollar Raffi Torres.

If he continues to play the way he has since Hitch arrived, and picks up the point pace to actually get to 25 on the year, as sad as it sounds I might actually be OK with that. Grossly overpaid, but not a detriment to the team lately.

Theres worse things in life than Lucic........ CLarkson, or Horton for example. He at least has some value, although highlky overpaid for that value.
