What? No. Ennis doesn't do any work. He sucks. Leivo is better than him offensively, defensively physically. It's not even close.
If you think Ennis is out there doing work, and Leivo wasn't you weren't watching the leafs play this year. - burn
Youre right, its not close offensively. Ennis is better.
This year.
E - 29gp - 9pts
L - 32gp - 9pts
Overall career:
E - 0.52 pts per game
L - 0.34 pts per game
Defensively, leivo is more physical.
Arguing over 4th liners.
Good time to be leafs fans. |

I don't agree.
I think Nylander is getting his legs under him now, he looks faster. Both teams were extremely fast last night, all lines.
Hyman is a pitbull on the puck, you need guys like that to help retrieve feed the puck to the stars. It's not like he's slow out there either. |

And guys like him bang in greasy goals, like we needed last night. For all of our shots and pressure, he saw a lot of the saves he made, and a pile of flukey Hasek ones too. |

Does that justify him anchored to Matthews and Tavares the past 3 years? Do you know how many easy goals he's missed because he lacks finsih?
This team is stacked. Why use someone like that in the top 6? |

So stupid. They don't even do the Tale of the Tape properly: in boxing, it was side-by-side stat breakdown, not a subjective "my teamz bettar" categories. - gravyface
I beleive this was one of three peoples opinion.
I beleive kyper argued that cooper was better the past couple of years and that tbays bottom 6 are better. |

Watching the game and looking at the post game stats, the Leafs outplayed TB overall. They did get a ton of PP chances but they still had the advantage 5v5 overall. Also had as many HD chances as TB shots.
If the situation was reversed I would be saying the Leafs got (frank)ing lucky and stole 2 points.

I will say that on paper, TB's D looks amazing, but in reality, I didn't see anything there that stood out besides Hedman, who's such a smooth skating freak of nature.
Not saying they don't have a better D core than ours, which they do, but I think the margin of difference in today's NHL for the purpose of eliminating scoring chances and reducing zone time is very slim.
There's just really only so much you can get away with nowadays in your own end. |

Outside of 1 min in the 2nd, i thought the leafs played great.
Ran into a goalie standing on his head, nothing you can do. |
