If we don't trade a good player, yes. - Garnie
Brown/Johnson 1st and a prospect realisticley should yield a very good top 4 guy on a good contract.. not a top two but someone better than zeek and hainsey |

Not tough enough - walshyleafsfan
Who Tampa isnt?
I think they are on par with the leaf toughness. Imo
I suppose they could use more grit.
Skilled grit, but who couldn't |

What weakness does tampa have? Overall, they look good top to bottom. Both lebrun and bmac have said the leafs are actively looking for a dman. What type dunno (1, 2, 3 or 4) yet.
He may like picks but he likes to win as well, id he can improve the team, he will. - Fakepartofme
Tampa is almost as weak defensively as we are.. We out-shot them 49-21.. If not for 4 posts and Vasilevskiy, we would have won the game. |

Im thinking, the leafs will look to grab a 4-5 guy.
Too dermott up top, move hainsey down to the 3rd line.
I would love to get rid of Z and his contract. |

Not too much alone. I figure the package I mentioned might be enough for a top 4? |

Canes apparently have been asking about Kap for a while. Please make it happen, thank you. - BINGO!
Can you guy's afford the 9m per year Big Dog, Glak, SpatsDopps, Max, Kipper, Simmons, KomisarekRex, Nucks fans, other Buffalo fans, Shootwarxxx, Punchanello, Habs fans, that CFL TSN bloke who trolled the Leafs about Laine, bringNYIhome, Jets fans, Lars Eller and that Muzzin and Toffoli for Nylander clown, said he's going to be signing for? |

They were outplayed pretty badly last night by Toronto. Save for Vasilevsky stealing the game the outcome could have been different. Perhaps they didn't have the best game as a team but they didn't look like world beaters to me. |

I like z as a good number 5 guy.. his contract and our lack of depth makes him slight unpalatable.. but if the kept him and liligren could push him down in 2-3 years it’d be ideal.. his cap hit is high for a #5 guy but he is playing as our 3-4 |

Yeah, the 50ish shots they gave up last night proved that. The Leafs never had any problems in the offensive zone, other than that damned goalie... |

I dont think our D has been that bad.
Also, you cant base their D off one game, likewise for the leafs.
Tampa has allowed 3 more goals than the leafs without vasy most of the season.
Theyve got the 6th best pk in the league.
I think their D are pretty good, like the leafs.
But i give the edge to TB.
Im sure theyll be looking to add as well. |

I respectully disagree, I think they are much better.
Add to that Vasilevsky, who might be the best goaltender in the world right now.... They are scary good.
And that's no knock on the Leafs who may very well be the 2nd best team in the NHL. |
