In a game the Sabres are out shot attempted 67-40, Rasmus Dahlin finishes 20-11 at ES and 4-0 on PP

He’s playing with a boat anchor on his right side though - Shadman306
Honestly, and I get not everybody is a fan of the "other" numbers, there's enough there to suggest that hes closer to being the problem than the solution. Boat anchor okposo makes it look twice as bad. |

Reinhart is our best RW but common Skinner's goals were both Eichel making an incredible no-look pass. As long as whoever plays on the right side can maintain possession and not turn the puck over they'll get points. If Reinhart performs at a 55 point pace on the 2nd line then that means Mitts and Sheary/Thompson get going and we are harder to defend. Leave Reinhart on PP1 and he'll still get his token assists. - Pegullaville
What?
Sam is on pace for 246 points this season based on tonight's game

Not right now, no. He just doesnt drive the play enough nor set up enough shots (teammates or his own).
But what little chances he creates for himself tend to be pretty good ones. This typically goes over well when that player is on the wing and the recipient of created plays.
Edit: I realize the pickings are extremely thin at centre, but that line has done virtually nothing offensively at even strength. - Sabresfan-365
Hmm
I'd like to try to get him a better RW before pulling the plug on Mittelstadt at center. I feel like he's good at the hard part (being defensively responsible). I'd like to see him with a legit sniping threat |

I dont want him permanently shifted to wing, just for a while, then move him back to centre. |

Sorry to go off topic gang.
But...i am clueless as to what to say about Eichel. It's just mind blowing to watch. |

I was thinking for a long while, he's the best we've had since LaFontaine.
He's better than LaFontaine was.
I'm starting to compare him to Messier |

Maybe if we weren't tied for 4th overall in the nhl.
Have to imagine every game mitts plays at center, he'll be better come playoff time? And moving forward. |

Bet there were alot of nhl players with 900 plus games and 81 playoff games under their belts who were willing to waive their no trade clause to come to buffalo.
9 goals 9 assists
Pommer won us some games and banked us some points this year.
Sure he's slowed down without eichel, but hes a leader - Boss34

Disagree. Patty was our best forward, ever (IMHO).
Hasek = best Sabre ever - but I think most of us would agree with that. |

No thuman?
I loved Bruce, but the dominator played the whole game.
With a much lesser team around him.
The Bill's offense would line up 11 guys better the guys we were facing. Right across the board.
Bruce is the best defensive end ever. |

Seriously, you really dont think he's helping the young guys?
He's still 3rd on the team in goals and 6th in scoring.
He "has been" showing up for work as a player/coach
I get it, it's the butt hurt over pilon passer.

Do Eichel and Skinner make the all-star game? Or just Eichel |
|
|
|
Sam has played really well for the most part.
But Jack makes Sam infinitely better. It isn’t the other way around - sbroads24
That whole line is playing like one cohesive unit. Eichel on pace for 108 points, Reinhart 77, and Skinner 84.
It really has been something to watch. Outside of Colorado's top line, has any other played better this season? |

If I was pressed to make a trade, I'd add a 2/3 C. Best case, Mitts takes back the 2 spot, new guy becomes high end 3C. |

Im too young for the modano comp, so I go with Malkin.
They're both woefully under-appreciated league wide as well |
