I’d rather find a high end winger for Bo and have two complementary 3rd wheels ride shotgun in the top 6

Makes more sense than trying to stack the top line and rely on Sven/Goldy to be Bo’s playmaker

VBo and JV got something and i like SB with them , Goldy is useless , did you see the play tonight where he went at an Oiler D , the oiler 1 armed him away like a peewee player

If I were you, Id be less worried about my height and more worried about your defending of Hextall for all these years.

At 5'5" I always wonder why mid-sized guys get so defensive when the big guys joke around about size.
I usually get a good chuckle, even when people refer to me as a halflings.
No big deal boys, it is all in fun.

Well truth be told, I'm just kidding around about your height, obviously. As for Hextall, I'm tired of explaining my stance on him as some of you weren't interested in understanding my position there, so if you still don't understand what a great job he did, then I can't help you understand it.

I need to see more than a 3rd of the season to be convinced that JV is anything more than a 3rd wheel top 6 player. Because he sure as hell hasn't shown that abililty in previous seasons yet. I think it's safe to see that Sven is a. 3rd wheel type of top 6 player at best on a legit playoff team. So Bo is still on an island in my eyes, what's great is that he's thriving despite being on that island.

It's not like any of us had any control over it, you got what you got. Having played a lot of hockey in my day I learned to chuck poop in the locker rooms, but it was always in good fun.

I think your position was pretty clear, he was building the way you feel a team should be built, unfortunately for him, the owners and many of the fans didn't agree.

The entire league has acknowledged what a great job he did putting together one of the best prospect pools and utilizing the draft. That was always my stance and what I wanted Benning to do. It was never about the team on the ice, Hextall inherited most of the top players and he never surrounded them with anything to help them. But again, my stance on Hexy was never about the product on the ice.

Bo needs a legit winger. One that plays at the same pace he does.

And can make plays at that pace Jake has then pace and is good at entering the zone but he's not skilled enough to create for Bo. I don't mind him as a 3rd wheel with Bo at all though
