Yup makes zero sense lol
So i wonder why tank nation has been so silent?
Did they expect us to suck with EP but be exciting?
Losers want losing & can never figure out that’s never a good thing.

- Nighthawk

But... we are sucking with EP and the games are exciting?! Have you looked at our record or you too gassed up on our two game win streak?

I'm always happy to win when the kids lead the way. This is not a good team yet though, that's just reality

This team is very hard to figure out. Strong start to the year then injuries nd crazy road trips . Then they win 1 of 13 then they are back on a tear. Even the games they lose they are losing by one goal.

Lets be honest the D still needs changing but we are still 13 goals ahead of last years pace. Even as bad as the D is they are looking better over this winning stretch . We have beaten some pretty hot teams this year.

At the beginning of the year when they had the slogan We are Tenacious, I almost puked , but they are a team that doesn't quit.

There is a chance we don't finish bottom 10 . No not Playoffs

- VANTEL

I don't think the goaltending and D will be able to keep us afloat, but gotta love the powerplay and top6 right now!

Any of us who watched through the long losing streak know that they easily could have won 4,5,6 of those games with a lucky bounce here or there. My guess is that if the team keeps playing with the heart that they have been and our top guys don't get hurt for any long stretches, we'll miss the playoffs by those 8-12 points we lost during the losing streak

They also won games they shouldn’t have. It all evens out over the course of the season.

Just saw the highlights, I'm sure I didn't get the whole picture but it looked like the boys played well tonight. Horvat is such a fantastic player, Pettersson with Boeser just makes the team fun to watch win or lose.

They're still a few pieces away from being a strong team but man they're definitely on their way.

Although a top 5 would be nice I am not going to worry about tanking. If we draft 14 th there are some RHD around there.

What a pleasant surprise him and Nilsson are becoming this year. Almost time to fake an injury and see what you have with Demko and Marky.

For me the addition of Leivo was a really smart one by Benning, which leads me to my answer for Baerstchi, if you can get something for him, move him for a third round pick.

As for Sutter, a perfect opportunity for Benning to acquire a pick to continue the building process. Sutter is getting up around 30 now, he can't stay healthy, although he's good when he is.

Pettersson-Horvat-Gaudette-Beagle is a nice foursome down the middle, they don't need Sutter.

Don't worry. Still 22nd in points percentage. 6th in the division and about 5 points behind when other teams catch up in games.

I think Sutter would waive. His NTC starts 2019-20

Okay . He can nix a deal until the end of the year only. No big deal. I am sure he would cooperate

I still think a shut down line of Beagle Sutter Eriksson would be a very good line.

I think its time to swallow my pride and do this eat-crow post, knowing full well you muppets will probably circle back to it for multiple posts of mine moving forward. As someone who has heavily critisized Benning and Green and FA a ton over the last 5 or 6 years, I can finally say that I truly believe they are in the right direction, doing the right thing, and getting us to a place on contention. Has Benning made some major muck ups along the way? absolutely. Has Green done questionable line changes and scratches in my opinion? absolutely. Has Benning made idiotic trades and free agent pickups? absolutely. But with all that criticism, deserves some major props. Gudbranson (who I despised) is making me eat crow, playing physical, responsible defensive hockey (still wish he didn't ice it all the time). Hutton has looked great. Leivo has been a great acquisition. Goldy is one of my favorite players. Our prospects and rookies have all been great surprises. Green has the team playing with high intensity and highly entertaining hockey. I know this is bold, considering the team still isn't in the playoffs, and are on a bit of a streak, but I have always thought that when credit is due, credit is due, and credit is due to a lot of people in the organization right now that I have thought were idiots before. /End.

hitchcock gave major props to the Canucks defense last night in a media scrum, then turned around and said Connor was held all night, given unnecessary whacks and hooks. I get what he is trying to do, but really, thats what happens when teams play your best player hard all night. IMO hes just blowing smoke, hoping the refs will pay more attention to it.
