It does for sure. That sweep a few years ago at their hands stung.
Like the intensity the lads played with tonight and the defensive tenacity.
Bodes well, but this season seems a write off. - philco28
I can live with the season being a write off if the games are as exciting as this one. Don’t expect much of this team the way it is structured, but do al least expect effort, heart and intensity.

Anyone else have this weird feeling that Stan will trade Murphy because he is the most “tradable”? I like that his game is so simple. Calm with the puck and quick pass up and out of the zone. Solid positionally too/ |

Not a shock, but Kruger with a concussion. Not going on the trip to Dallas and Colorado. |

I’m probably in the minority here, but I don’t think Hartman really did anything wrong. It looked to me like he was stationary. Kruger came in with speed (and a little low). Hartman just didn’t move. Normally guys will spin away from pressure like that, but Hartman just stood there. |

Was there and thought for sure it should have been, especially because there was blood everywhere. They had to clean off the bench and shovel quite a bit of it off the ice. Kruger was really wobbling.
Hartman did say after the game it was not intentional - just trying to prevent the collision. |

Suck it Preds!!! - EnzoD
I want the last place and the most ping pong balls because thats what this current team needs but beating Nashville ad those ugly (frank)ing sweaters always is fun. Always.
Preds almost reached Canuck level hate but never quite got there. |

Yeah, he seems to struggle with the phyiscal aspect of the NHL. I was just thinking to myself a few minutes ago how nice it would be to have someone with his hands who was just harder on the puck and stronger to play on that line. - breadbag
Actually Kahun exhibited the opposite of good hands in the Preds’ game. He messed up passes to him all night - lots of them. On one of them he had a wide-open net to shoot into and flubbed. Foley and Edzo also seemed to question his compete with respect to fighting for board pucks.
Kahun simply has to do more than skate quickly around. At some point he needs to win pucks and most importantly at some point he needs to produce, especially as he spends lots of time high in the line-up. |

Edzo’s analysis was completeky wrong. While Hartman did not push out his elbow more, he didn’t have to, as he more dangerously moved his WHOLE BODY backwards including his already extended elbow. The crazy thing is Edzo started the discussion by saying Hartman executed a Reverse Check. So Chunk for these same reasons Hartman was totally in the wrong. Should arguably have been a major. Players are required to control their bodies and what they do and Hartman knew exactly where his elbow was. Totally reckless. |

I lay low here, it was one game last night. it's still a. VERY entertaining team with great fans. great knowledge from posters here, but I've thought many have been way over the top on. JC. and Gus on defence. I think JC works well with youth, if they try to waive Gus he would have been snapped up. AND. the move to diminish Keith's ice is paying off; he had the balls to change that. I will also say that Forsling and Murphy have really solidified this back end . as much as he was cropped on last year, I really like what he brings. |

I saw Waters for Dark Side at what used to be Tweeter Center. I think I was 6 or 7. Saw Waters for The Wall about 8 years ago at the UC. Snowy Winters might not be Gilmour, but he is still no slouch. - I Am The Breadman
Saw Waters’ The Wall in Toronto. Snowy was great. Concert I saw had him playing on top of the Wall - very cool.
Have seen U2 many times. Like their earlier music best. Saw them once in Edmonton. Snow Patrol opened - also a great band. Knew U2 were staying at the Hotel McDonald, where we always stayed for business. Hung out in Lobby chairs to see their arrival. Had a room directly above the front entrance with balconey. Huge crowd gathered. On way to concert Bono came out with a hoodie over his head. Security all around him. He told them to back away and he entered the crowd and got engulfed. Wasn’t hard to figure out how he might have a “Jesus” complex. Bono was obviously prepared to risk his safety for adulation. |

That's my jam, right there! I've been on a U2 binge of late, them and Police. - I Am The Breadman
Been listening to the earliest Genesis, lately especially The Lamb. Always tinged as know it was Gabriels’s last. Also love Camel - the song Ice has a guitar piece best ever. PFM - the song The World Became The World also best ever.
But dabbling all over from the great songs Sour Suite and These Eyes by the Guess Who to Ray Wilson, who fronted Genesis who has great solo music to Fourplay with Bob James (jazz fusion) to John Tropea (great guitarist) to Al Dimeola (great guitarist) to the Doobie Brothers, who made lots of great music nobody knows to Michael McDonald to Steve Winwood and Dave Mason, both from Traffic.
Have never been big into Dream Theatre but have been listening to supergroup bands Portnoy has been in since leaving. He is an amazing drummer and great to watch. Harder edged but great. Check out Transatlantic. Check out Portnoy, Sheehan, McAlpine, Sherinian. HawkintheD you will LOVE PSMS - harder but absolute virtuosity.

Snowy played on top of the wall for Comfortably Numb. He's good.
I like Snow Patrol. The show The Office got me into them. That U2 story was cool, made me laugh. Bono strikes me as that kind of guy.
I know/heard of most that you described. I love Traffic, and Winwood and Mason's solo careers. Love The Guess Who, also. I think one of their album covers they did, all of the guys wore Canucks jerseys. I will have to check out Portnoy. You got good tastes, Z3. Thanks for the reccomendation. I love talking music. I might do it a bit too much on here though, haha. I just keep getting sucked in. |

How about a new rule. A team can decline the penalty and take a penalty shot instead. - boilermaker100
Don't steal my idea. Team should decide if they want a penalty shot or not, it shouldn't be the refs call. |

Well, he uses a capital D, which, in my childish understanding, is a big letter. Haha. Plus, I know it stands for Detroit. I'm not going to see him. |
