I like MJL, I think he’s hilarious. I doubt he takes any of my posts seriously.

He shoots more poop than anyone here. It’s a message board. It’s all cool.

When you say the same thing over and over and over for 15 straight years, bound to be right once in awhile.

After the cocaine and hookers are gone, let's all take a minute and realize that a coaching change isn't likely to turn this team around. There's a real chance that we see little, if any, immediate payoff. Hopefully this motivates the players, but they're still not a contender. But hopefully they're just more fun to watch.

Now back to the coke and hookers.

Serious question for you Flyers fans:

Do you really want to start turning it around this year?

Or are you better off blowing it up until the rubble shakes, and starting over next year?

It's a shame that some of those quitters are gonna be allowed to remain, take the ice tomorrow for the Flyers

Vancouver ran them out of the rink on Saturday. That game was never in doubt, because those quitters took Edmonton and Vancouver off

- AllInForFlyers

I'll be honest... so did I.

I couldn't bring myself to watch them throw away games. Couldn't do it. Knew it was coming.

For sure, especially after a comment like that. That comment is going to be repeated all day today by the media.

Hak needed to go that was clear, but something also needs to be done with the goalie situation. Because Hextall went into this season with Elliott, who isn't a bad goalie, and Neuvirth, who breaks when he moves, as the two goalies you had to know this season had trouble written all over it.

This team has basically quit over the past two weeks or so, I'm hoping that a lot had to do with Hak being in limbo. He should have been fired with Hextall, because really was a new GM going to keep him.

Hopefully this team becomes watchable again.

Get in Q or somebody else worthwhile this season if possible.

Trade Simmonds, and other smart deals if they come along. If they end up tanking, so be it. Don’t chase simply making the playoffs.

Personally, I don't care if the win or lose for the rest of the season, I want to see the play like they give a damn. This team has been passive and vanilla for the better part of 3 years.

It's been a lot of years. You can relate. I want it turned around immediately last year.

If we have a lottery pick this year so be it.

There's always the theory that you are better off having the interim coach be the absolute hard-ass for the rest of the year.

Then bring in the new coach the day after locker-cleaning-out day, and he can build new relationships with the players that are left.

It's funny we always think about the hockey angle. But if I'm Q, I'm kinda thinking I wouldn't mind taking the rest of the season off and chillaxing with my family. Hell, if you are getting paid to sit on a couch, do you really want a new job right away?

Yeah but even if we did continue to lose I dont think we would lose enough for anything beyond top 5 or 6.

Never have truer, more hurtful words been written!

I just know as a Leafs fan, the mid-year rebound isn't a great idea.

It's not going to end well.

I'd like to see a team that seems to give a poop. Play like they weren't just picked up out of a roller hockey league.

For me, I love this day. It just shows that change is possible. This dumbass was such a cockroach and I have no idea how he’s managed to stay this long.

Gordon might be a POS, but in the middle of the year I’m cool with an interim. Is what it is.

All you have to do is miss the playoffs for Hughes. Sure better chance, but finishing with the worst record doesn't guarantee the 1st pick. Finishing bottom 5-7 gives a great chance.

I don't blame anyone for not watching them this weekend. They showed what is always true: Fans care more than they do, at times

I was hoping they'd show up against Edmonton -- they could've salvaged the trip with a win

Once they mailed it in Friday, I knew they were gonna fold Saturday. I still watched them because my disdain took over

Yeah Leafs have been know to get really hot at end of year just to miss playoffs from their history. I can't imagine getting teased like that for a decade, now that's hell.

And the Flyers are only 3 points from the bottom and the only two teams with worse records are LA and Chicago. It’s more than possible with the way they’ve played.
