Does Remi Elie go back on waivers when Scott Wilson is ready? Can the Sabres realistically send down Pilut? When can we send Dahlin down so Tennyson can come back?

You mentioned it in a previous post, I think all the hate comes from one thing, Sam was drafted #2 and typically that is a great player.. IMO over the past 4 years watching Sam play, I feel he is a very solid player who can make all the passes, all the shots, a little on the slow side but adequate speed, but needs to be around better players. And he may have been a center in the OHL but in the NHL his skill set is better as a winger.

Sam on Jacks Line with Skinner he may put up 75pts, Sam centering a 2nd line he may put of 55 pts. Just my take...

I was just talking to my friend about this very thing a few days ago.. I don't think I've ever seen Sam beat a goaltender clean with his shot, except for that backhand in the SO a few games back.

BPA is the right choice in hockey, no matter what. Time will tell if he was, but, he was on June 23rd.

Here's some advice from someone who's been around here far too long....

Don't try to keep score of who did what/said what and who's right and wrong. It's pointless and childish. It also makes you look like a total douche.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, it's just getting tiresome to read this type of stuff every 3-4 posts (which I've now started skipping over).

Everyone here has an opinion. Sometimes they'll be right, sometimes they'll be wrong. If yours ends up wrong, just dust yourself off and move on. If yours is right, it's not necessary to gloat about it. Nobody else really gives a poop one way or the other.

We're as close to that as Reinhart is.

I think it’s going to be interesting next year to see what the Sabres do.

Cody Hodson - 44 points
Zemgus Girgensons - 22 points
Steve Ott - 20 points
Brian Flynn - 13 points

Reinhart was a consensus top 4 pick by all hockey experts. The Sabres had garbage at center with nothing in the farm system. I'd say that 90% of this board back then was delighted when we picked Reinhart. I think Gerbe wanted Ehlers, that's about all I remember.

Anyway, I am glad Reinhart is on the Sabres. He reminds me a lot of the Sedin twins. They got bashed all the time for their lack of size, speed, flashiness etc. However, they both scored over 1,000 points in their NHL careers. Both will end up in the Hall of Fame.

When the Sabres play in Vancouver on January 18, if you see a guy wearing a white #23 in the stands, its SabreWest.
