the gap shrunk but it's still mcdavid, matthews and jack IMO in that order

and that is not a dig, as I have never seen 3 young centers in a 2 year draft dominate the nhl like these 3

signing Duchene

Duchene, Krejci, Mitts down the middle
Pasternak, (keep) Skinner, Sam, Sheary,
and looked for Nylander, Olofsson & Sheary to come up & be at least decent wingers in the top9

This would obviously mean we are moving out current Cap like: Berglund, Okposo, Scandella

The Cap would be tricky for sure,
but it’s gonna get a big bump when Seattle joins just like it did with Vegas

yes he should, Like you said, GM's have a responsibility to listen to all offers. When LA called Edmonton about Gretzky, I imagine that call went like, hey is Wayne available? Hello?, Hello....... (Dial tone.....................................) But that call set the table for the trade.....
