If the Sabres had drafted Leon and the Oilers taken Reinhart, their stats would be flipped and everyone on this board would be second guessing why we took that lousy German.

I can still remember Reinhart being on the ice for Canada in the 2015 gold medal game against Russia with 90 seconds to go. There were multiple d-zone faceoffs and the Canadian coach kept Reinhart on the ice, taking all the draws. McJesus was sitting on the bench, watching. Reinhart was a stud in that tourney and pressure filled game.

And no, I am not inferring that Reinhart is better than McJesus....

Jack is the line. He wears the C for a reason. He's the forward we've had in decades. No arguments at all.

I think Samson is a good winger for any scoring forward. He has the ability to give snipers a pass that leaves them time and space. His ability to hit jack through the neutral zone has lead to numerous goals this season. Totally agree.

To laugh hysterically of the thought that Eichel is better then matthews just proves you don’t watch any Leaf games at all. I watch more Leaf games then Sabre games due to where I live. Matthews might be marginally better at best.
