I watch quite a few leafs games over the years

all 3 are great players

Everything flows through Jack. Even if he doesn’t score or get an assist he impacts the game with his puck possession. Matthews doesn’t skate as fast as Eichel, isn’t as physical, isn’t as good of a play maker, heck he hasn’t even led his team in points once in his 3 years in the league. He is the superior goal scorer and that’s about it.
