Absolutely worthless.
So if Isaac had said they were firing him Monday they would've done it Sunday or waited till Tuesday?.
I was over Hak as the coach but treat the man with some respect. You're a pro sports team. I didn't think it was possible to rival the joke that the Sens had been for a while there but this franchise seems to be up for the challenge. - Yosimar89
No, Isaac created a poopstorm for posting false information and the Flyers had to go into damage control. They refuted it because, at the time, it was true. |

I'll go on record right now as 100% no on Gordon as head coach full time. Just don't like his time with the Isles. He can go back to Lehigh when new coach comes in - dragonoffrost
I could see Gordo finishing out the year and being sent on his way, for Fletcher to bring in all new coaches at the NHL and AHL levels. |

I think I am more excited about not having pages after pages of MJL talk about why players don't get blamed for Hak doing an excellent job. - Glak18
It's interesting. First of all, you're never right in your paraphrasing. You're also far more focused on what I say then I am about what you say. I just don't pay that much attention. |

Why do you think the PP is not scoring? - MJL
Because they wanted Dave Hakstol to get fired but didn't know that Ron Hextall was gonna get the gate first, so they had to get extra clever

Mike Keenan might be the first person to go into remission because cancer left of its own accord. |

if all the issues were the duo of Hextall and Hakstol I expect a relaxed team tomorrow. The effort and interaction in game will be telling. |

To be honest with you, part of it's been bad puck luck around the net -- some, not all, but some had just been misfortune
Ghost has struggled some at ES, and he still gets too many shots blocked on the PP, but honestly, I don't think he's been the reason because of his overall struggles
I think Voracek tries to go cross-seam too much, which is why I saw glad they finally got him off. The play dies a bit too much on his side of the ice
But honestly, for the most part? It's all of it. Player struggles, coach not adapting, bad puck luck |

Just a side note.
You think Wentz magically gets healthy if the Eagles win against the Texans. You know he can't have what happened last year happen again.
I know "team player" yada yada yada but as a person it has to be in the back of his head. - J35Bacher

What I'm getting at is that any moderately informed hockey fan can see why the Flyers aren't scoring on the PP. It's not that complicated. So if we want to dismiss the assistant in charge bases on results, fine. Can we really say it due to bad coaching? I know its taboo but how about someone make a play! I don't agree about Gostisbehere though. He's been terrible on the PP. Now that Hakstol is gone, that will all change I guess. |

Sorry if this was already discussed...why bring the Phantoms coach instead if just using one of the assistant coaches? Who's coaching the Phantoms? |
