Rattie couldn’t catch on just like Maroon can’t catch on now right? Point being is just because a player doesn’t succeed with one team doesn’t mean they can’t with another.....the hope for Rattie was to play with Connor and after the pre season it looked like a sure bet but then he gets hurt and has gained zero traction since....it happens - RatedR80
You're right about Maroon. The idea was to have him in the right situation with ROR and Tarasenko. Didn't work out as planned |

Maroon has a way better sense of humor and interviews 1000% better than Rattie does. |

Yes he has been a healthy scratch and yes he didn’t succeed under Hitch with the Blues this isn’t breaking news.....but he gets a chance to play in the top 6 tonight - RatedR80
I was more pointing out Hitch giving him chances in the top 6 happens every year. Hitch doesn't tolerate mistakes from Rattie long enough for it to matter. |

Players and owners both should make a stink of it but at this point I don’t know what it will take to get any consistency going - RatedR80
Well, a complete restructuring. There should be a review board for officials who make questionable calls that coaches and GMs can request be reviewed. If a ref is found to be making mistakes on a consistent basis they're relegated to a lower league to work out the kinks. Making these f'ing zebras accountable for their actions and jobs is paramount. Right now there is nothing in place. |

With our wing depth being what it is this year it’s no surprise that he will get his chance just as Puju got his just as Reider will get his ect ect ect

That’s an idea actually and then you can fine and suspend refs to hold them just as accountable as you would players

I get the frustration at the non calls, but the Oilers need to do a better job stayin out of the box. It sucks that Mcjesus is rode and hooked, it happens to all the stars. The players on the Oilers most likely do the same. Its not a most likely it is a definite that they do. The thing that stinks is the penalties that the Oilers are forced to be called on them. What was it, 2 too many men calls, and 1 for throwing the puck out of play? Or # too many men calls. I cant remember right now and am too lazy to research such a benign fact. The problem is discipline of the players as the play positions up depth chart than usual. With the defence in a state of weakness. The players moving up to fill in, seem to be trying to do to much. Stick to the fundamentals, and keep it simple till they are moved back down to where they belong or they adapt, and start to fit in where they have been asked to play above there placement. |

They may look at offside here. While Puljujarvi was entering the zone, someone was getting off in the offensive zone. |

Wrong, but I still noticed the potential for offside. Half mark for me. |

Jones with his first point and Khaira keeps getting points |

I don't know how I feel about getting a powerplay for that. Yeah it cut down on coaches challenge, but I feel like that was an honest challenge. |
