I think it was explained on tv why that goal counted but even then there was that bogus interference call against you guys the last time we played.....I blame Parayko for telling that ref that he can do what he wants |

What is more problemsome is that Allen didn't stop the damn shot. Any goalie worth their weight should have |

Didn't explain it here locally. Parayko can do what he wants until a minute has been completed. Then it's a penalty |

Tarasenko will get it going....the team itself hasn’t been doing too well this season....didn’t really even get a boost from the coaching change |

Tired of these weak as poop slashing penalties. If you whack a stick that's a slash now??? If you hook the stick down by the blade that's a hooking?? Not the hockey I grew up playing or watching. Thanks Sid. Taking off the tip of a finger has had league wide repercussions |

Hate to say it but I think management screwed up thinking Elliot was a better option than Halak, and then trading Halak. I know he struggled to have consistency, but I think him and Ellliot was an underrated duo. |

It's similar to the Tarasenko picking up the stick call a couple games ago, or the Peel goal. Refs ignoring the rule as written, but calling their best guess for what they intent of the rule is.
But with refs ignoring Maroon getting high sticked (not a situation where refs have to make a judgement call) but calling the retaliatory slash (situation where the refs do have to make a judgement call) I think we know how this game is going. |

The hockey we grew up watching is dead now it no longer exists for better or worse....or maybe it is....as pointed out earlier there isn’t much for consistency with officials

At the start of the season, I thought the blues where a serious contender to be one of the western power houses. Now Im hoping the Oilers can benefit from the lackluster performances and hopefully pluck a dman. One can dream. Who wouldnt want Piets, or Parakyo on your team? |

Yep. Last year, this play:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9oMBQb0UOk
Blues told the media after that the refs explanation was Allen couldn't have made the save, so the goalie interference didn't matter. Which got it talked about nationally quite a bit that no one, including the refs, has any idea what goalie interference rules are anymore. Ever since then, Blues have been getting consistently bent over. |

That is what I was trying to say. Even then some of those open ice hits where questionable then. |

It's pretty hard to save a puck when you're closer to the boards than the net.
(frank)ing stupid league honestly. |

I wonder if the mentality was “let’s hire a PP specialist but let someone else oversee the PP” |

Elliot was the better goalie between him and Allen |
