Thompson has been so hit or miss this season
I didn’t like him last night
You can see he has some talent
But he really needs to work on his skating, and I’m starting to question his hockey sense
He just seems like he’s never where he needs to be

Maybe I’m biased though
I never liked him as a prospect

He’s still young, so plenty of time to work through his issues

Why is that viewed negatively? I think most have come around to the fact that he's a 2nd pair guy...which is what a 4 is?

It only sounds bad if one keeps pretending he's some norris candidate. Otherwise, being a top 4 is pretty good.

Section 105 last night, smoking hot young-30 babe sitting in 4th row, all dressed up with this very stylish but totally out of place hat on; not watching the game at all but really doing everything she can to get as much attention as she could.

Five or six minutes into the game some other people showed up, waved at her, and she retreated from the 4th row to the 5th. 10 minutes into the game another group of people showed up and waved at her, and she hung her head altogether and walked back up the stairs and left.

Hes a top 6 forward. But to say hes any more important to the teams success then Eichel, Dahlin, Skinner, Risto and Hutton/Ullmark would be false. Im sorry to expect more out of a 2nd overall pick. Good player, but can be replaced if the circumstances present themselves that we need the cap space. Unless he can become the 2nd line C and Mitts becomes the expendable guy but that remains to be seen.
