Even a top10-ish defensive forward with 65pts is pretty good

Unless he is a bad teammate or lockerroom problem?

Did u see Dreger during the Caps vs Pens intermission?
He said we aren’t talking with Skinner yet

U &/or Homie need to give him a shout & let him know what’s up!

I did like that the last thing he said was that Skinner has a NTC, and he KNOWS that Skinner wants to stay in Buffalo

- jdfitz77

They talked just not in depth like they will very soon, I said end of January and he confirmed that also. Berglund being a dumbass has helped us.

I like ROR always have but if we think about it, both teams that have traded him have had issues with him. Damn good player though, add Skinner and still have ROR would be nice. Just can't afford everyone and this is better for the Sabres.

Like Bandit was saying,
this Berglund thing might not be completely over yet
The Players Union is probably gonna step in
But hopefully we can just wash our hands of him & be done with it

I’ll only be nervous about Skinner if it’s getting close to the deadline & he isn’t signed
Seems pretty clear that he enjoys playing here quite a bit

Would you rather have 5 exciting ones?
- Boss34

Sure, but 3 is better than 0. I literally wouldn't care if the Sabres got into the playoffs on a tie breaker with the least amount of goals and every series went to 7 with every game being 1-0 or 2-1 and they won the Cup. It's irrelevant how they win. To quote Dom Toretto:

I do get that point
We just got a sh!tty return
So it sucks watching him play great when we could really use a good 2C right now

Sabres did there research on this before they terminated his contract and were prepared for either outcome. They won't have him disrupting the team and like I said, BOGO let him know.

Got to say I hated the O'Reilly trade because of the Berglund contract. Now I love the trade, what a difference a healthy scratch can make.

Can't pay everyone and we didn't do bad in the return could it have been better, sure but we have Skinner now and that is better for Eichel.

Disclaimer: this is in bad taste

A few months ago,
a group of ppl were doing “Paul Walker shots”
It’s a car bomb with the shot lit on fire

Made me chuckle
Then i was ashamed i found it kinda funny

There was a legit fight on the ice in practice between teammates.

If that doesn’t constitute a locker room issue I don’t know what does.

- Stripes77

Smart ass comment: on the ice isnt in the locker room

Who gets more points sam or ror?
- Boss34

Barring any injuries?

I’ll say Sam.

That line is the 2nd most productive in the league.

When we are competing for the Cup,
there’s a good chance the only part of that trade we will be left with is the 1st round pick
And it’s not even a sure thing that the player we choose will work out

Yea I definitely mixed up two separate posts and merged into one on the last page my bad. He’s a pretty damn good passenger though. His ppg since he came in the league could very well be higher then Eichel’s if I’m not mistaken.
- Pegullaville

S'all good and I agree he's right up there with the bests. At all game states, its probable he's higher (haven't checked). Us being a nightmare for Eichel's first few years didn't help.

I also believe in the theory that the higher number held him back.

Or Sam getting moved to line2
Could end up being pretty close

Unless Sam can do it away from Jack,
I don’t think i wanna pay him more than 6per
And even that would be pushing it for me

Gotta think Skinner is priority #1
Once that’s done,
i wonder what Botts is thinking as far as figuring out secondary scoring if we are still struggling in that area

It’s not that they are a liar.

It’s being a professional and giving respect to a former coworker.

There is absolutely no way any player would come out and say oh yea he was a total piece of poop in the room

Look what we KNOW about Lehner and how he was in the room from his own (ghost writer) mouth and not one person said that in an interview.
