I think Niederreiter would fit this team and he’s at the right age |

Just making conversation.
Sabres need a 2c / secondary scoring
Guy has term
Guy is good
4.3 for 3 years is cheap - Boss34
I respect your opinion. I wouldn't hate the move, but I doubt Philly is looking to move Couts. I've seen Konecny and Couts involved in trade talks here on these boards and I'm sure those two guys are the least likely to move on that team right now. Also Couts is turning 27 and maybe has 4-5 solid years left. As long as our amatuer scouts find the right players they'll be Sabres property for 10+ years.
Yes I'm aware Skinner is 26 as well but he's an elite goal scorer and we got him for next to nothing, and his skating suggests he can be a really good player in to his mid-30's. |

I hope we move down here in the standings as well. I think we are better off making the playoffs as the 2nd wildcard then 3rd in the Atlantic. To win in the playoffs you have to beat the best teams regardless. If we lose in the first round we'd pick 16-18 instead of 25. |

Over the last week or so I've seen several people say that the Blues #1 is off limits. Why? If it is in the top 10 (and it most likely will be) they will hold on to it. Historically picks outside of the top 5 aren't sure things - if we can get a good young player in return we should not be afraid to move it. |

I'm too lazy to do the research but if you were to look at the first rounders from 2014-2017 you'll recognize a lot of names in the NHL right now. I know that the 2015 draft is the best draft since 2003 but even the other drafts have studs picked past the top 10. Even the Zacha's and the Dylan Stromes of the world are at least playing in the NHL. The good thing also is that these first round picks won't have to carry the team. Odds are there are playing middle-6/middle pairing defense with the talent we have already assembled. They will compliment Eichel, Dahlin, Risto, Sam, Mitts. They don't have to carry the team like the aforementioned. |

$2 gennys at the ECHL game last night
it was a site to see
2 thousand rednecks double fisted with a sea of white genny cans
Pretty sure more genny was drunk in Jacksonville then WNY last night
and the icemen won 6-4
wacey rabbit had 2 goals
and we got over 30 shots on goal, so I got a free frosty for a later date - homiedclown
Pretty sure he is a Native
Super nice guy though

That doesn't reflect well of your parenting skills Taco.....
But maybe... Berglund was supposed to be that 3C that could help spell Casey and without that Sobotka and everyone else isn't good enough. A vet guy in that role would be nice. |

I believe most people believe if the Blues end up drafting in the top 10 this year which they are well on their way to doing they will make some major changes in the offseason, such as moving Tarasenko, Pietrangelo, etc. So they could be going through a rebuild, meaning next years first could be another top 10 pick and next years draft class is pretty stacked.
That being said I don't totally disagree with you about moving it. It's a toss up. |
