I think this all of the time. I was also fully wrong about s lot of those players. Even if they don’t score, they have shown the ability to tread water. Like you said, it really makes the swing player brassards line. With healthy forwards he will have someone decent on his line with him. No more excuses. - stayinthefnnet
Like I’m still waiting for Cullen to go back to being poop but every game I expect it a bit less and Wilson and Grant won me over a couple of games ago. I don’t need the fourth line to score a ton if they’re finding a way to get into the offensive zone more often than not on sheltered deployment. Don’t make the goalie work and your job is done as a fourth line. And chances are you’ll eventually pot some if you keep generating chances like this line has been doing. |

Yeah I know it wasn’t his fault. I thought I said that haha he wasn’t even the d man originally on the ice. I just found it funny because it’s every goal anymore.
Nice goal. Everyone in their regular area. Horn in front. Crosby low. Kessel on his side. Malkin shooting. Good shift by the fourth to follow as well - stayinthefnnet
Oh no you definitely did. I was more agreeing with you like hahaha But yeah it was funny that he was gliding into the screen as usual hahaha |

Totally agree. End this creeps career before he ends somebody else's. - madmike71
He didn’t seem to have that affect last time he played in Vegas. |

Exactly my thoughts. I think sheahan still is a bit off at wing but he’s been tremendous on the puck recently.
Like you said, get Schultz back and if brassard becomes what he was supposed to be, a run is possible. It’s also possible brassard never materializes and their inconsistencies leave them in too big of a hole by the time Schultz is back.

Sounds like Simon will be back next game. Wilson will be sent down tomorrow and Grant won't be seen again until an injury. I think Cullen has been OK since returning from injury, but the 4th line was good with all those plugs. |

They play a simple game that meshes well with each other and they simply work harder than the other line at all times. It’s like they know they don’t have talent to coast in the league and the only thing keeping them on the nhl side of a paycheck of a two way contract is balls out effort at all times |

Get brass outta here give sheahan a role to fill instead of being part of the cluster (frank) of bottom 6, Cullen only kills penalties or suits up as needed |

Everyone knows Murray cannot catch...we are blocking a ton to insulate him. Like 2016. |

Even the one right there at the end. It’s like he has a trashcan lid as a glove. In and right back out. Gonna suck having to kill off a penalty called with literally zero time remaining. |

Looking pretty good. Bad penalty to take with a few seconds left though... Giving the Caps a clean slate of ice and a full PP to start the 3rd |

He tracks the puck like poo...I watch his head alot and it's quite a bit behind the puck all the time. Stuff hits him because he is very good positionally...but he can't mentally catch up to a lot of shots. I'm sure this is why he cannot catch. I don't doubt he could play catch with his nephew successfully but NHL shooters tend to amp up the speed. |

I think that's one of the missing ingredients. Guys that try to prove they belong with every shift. |

I noticed his rookie yr on his blocker side hes quick to the floor to hug his post... if we can recognize these nuances n he cant that's worrisome |
