7-5 Canucks.
Bo with 3, Jake with 2, Huton and Pouliot with 1 apiece.
Elias on a 2 game pointless streak...
fans riot on the streets because of this.

"regardless of the outcome, as long as Pettersson gets points"

also

"100% on the bandwagon of coming down on people who are ok with anything less than a win"

ok

We may not have won the other night but watching your team finally come together and see the process is a win for me. You can't win them all but finding the positives on a team that is growing is called being an optimist. I am not okay with losing but I try to take what good I can from every game. Hell after that $hitshow of a losing streak I will take what good I can at this point.

I'm experimenting tonight, asparagus and ham pizza.
- A_SteamingLombardi

Put it under the broiler for like 2 mins at the end, char up the ham and asparagus. Trust me.

Replace the ham with bacon and I think you have a winner.

They played a good game against a top5 team, stood their ground and showed some heart. Were not good enough yet, but I agree it shows they're growing.

lol imagine being a fan of one of the worst teams (statistically) in the league over the last 4 or 5 years, and being disgruntled at anything less than a win. I am never happy when they lose a barn burner, or play awful hockey, but seeing progression from being a bad team is what you can hope for as they start to make their way out of the basement. People shouldn't leave their bar of expectations at the ground, but i don't see the harm in acknowledging progression.

Blues are confusing, but they need this one bad. Could go either way because the goaltending has been even worse than ours.

An entertaining game but we lose, best case scenario.

Exactly. The reason we are watching right now is to witness growth and progression. That's the only positive thing about a rebuild. I want a high draft pick but I don't want my team embarrassed along the way.

For these young guys to put up a fight against one of the best teams in the league is a victory in my opinion.

I was surprised I was so infuriated by Cooper's fist bump but then I realized these kids are bringing my fandom/passion back.

Really? They've been awful all year. Very winnable game, and I'm all for us losing to get that high pick

Ya I realized that in the Colorado game when I was literally yelling when EP didn't get the penalty shot in OT. I was like: "poop, I actually care again"

people just like to find things to complain about. Matheson slammed Petey, and 90% of the people in here complained over the push-back. Stecher gets hit, the entire team rallies, and people are disgruntled about the loss and start barking over "moral victories".

TBH - I still don't really care if they win or lose. Obviously, whether people want to admit it, but tanking for a better draft positions works, its how we got Petey. I am all for progression of the team, we have no where to go but up as we have been one of the worst teams in the league. If we lose and get a good draft pick, I would be ecstatic.

And as far as the fist bump. I have no problem with it. Martel got jumped by two huge players and has only played a few games in the NHL. I would fist bump him too tbh

I had something to say but I am just not good with my retorts. I always feel like I am taking it to far.
