I should have been more clear, but when people say things like "even Gretzky was traded," I don't believe Gretzky had a no trade clause. So the likelihood of McDavid getting dealt is lower, but I'm sure we could all come up with trade scenarios where someone would accept a trade for McDavid if these things didn't exist. It's not a good deal for the Sabres

Having reacquainted myself with the Caps the other night playing the Pens...the Sabres need to stay out of the box. Having Ovi continually unload BOOMING slapshots that are meant to mame, not jurt hurt when a defender blocks a shot can be leathal to said defender.

Just play and let the cards fall where they may. I think we have a good team. But not a great team. Claim a wildcard spot, get Skinner signed and blow up the bottom 6 in the offseason.
