Not yet! Grigorenko is 11th in scoring in the KHL and someone will give him a shot.

for all the comments on how sam does not raise jack's game over the past few weeks

serious question since sam was drafted as a play maker

why is Jack on a goal tear in recent weeks?

don't give me with his low shooting% it was bound to go up

a play maker coming into his prime is one of jack's wing men, and jack is tearing it up with goals

Just a fortnight ago, I took the steam ferry from Black Rock to Lockport, and this dandy nipper was letting it rip about Millard Fillmore. The nobby blow hard blathered on on about his desire to keep the corrupt whig in office through and beyond '53. Well I told the fool to dry up, naturally. And that lilly livered fop didn't have the spunk to retort, as is common among Whig men.

I didn't get a lot of work done today

Why is Jack scoring more lately? It's easy, he's making superstar plays and picking corners. He's hot, pure and simple. Not many tap in's or garbage goals either.

Jack is the play maker on the line, really no question there.

twisting my words sir

I said skunk was drafted to be a play maker, never said he was the best play maker on that line

so why didn't eichel score goals at this clip earlier in the year, or last year or his rookie year?

it's due to 2 things

jack maturing and developing into a top tier nhl center

and jack has 2 quality linemates

At least as important as the quality is the chemistry. They find one another all the time.

Yes but we went to Tryon not Rookies. Dave the Electrician and Black Steve showed up.

It didn’t quite catch fire but it got close.

Guess I don't see what you're getting at. Sure feels like you're trying to give Sam a ton of credit. In October, Eichel was creating tap ins, he lead one of the top producing lines in the NHL, but he was missing the net constantly. In December, he's still creating tap ins, he's still leading one the top producing lines in the NHL, and he's picking corners.

He's shooting better, no question there. If you're implying that it's because he's getting great feeds from Sam, I don't see that. Stronger case can be made for Dahlin imo.

Is sam worth $7.5-8M a year ? Or can someone else provide better output on that line for $2M dollars less. Eichel has already inflated Skinner's deal $1.5M. The real question is can Skinner/Reinhart play at a 65-70 point pace on any other line on the team that doesn't feature Jack ? Money will be tight in the coming years.

He scored at a point a game pace last year. His injuries are what affected his play. Also the fact that the Sabres were out of the playoffs by November and guys are coasting around the last 20 games of the year doesnt help.

Dude not many players can leave the puck at center ice on a drop pass besides Sam, and a ref giving someone a penalty shot

Skinner and his agent probably bought Berglund a case of Dom Perignon.

Pominville would of scored the two A+ chances that Reinhart missed and probably wouldn't of had the poise to set Jack up on a few of the assists on his goals. Im glad we established that Reinhart is better then a 36 year old Pominville... But will Rhino at $8M a year be more essential to the teams success then a typical 2nd liner making $5M and the other $3M being used for bottom 6 guys. That's for Botts to decide.

Some questions on this board are best not asked. Anything pertaining to reinhart falls in that category. He has a real shot at 80 points, but people will still b!tch.

It’s not female doging. It’s one poster feverishly bringing up Reinhart on every thread begging for us to compliment him in some weird way
