Worst game by 37 so far this year. Just brutal in all 3 zones this evening.

We should have gotten at least 1 point. Hutton needs to stop being so arrogant with the puck.

As pissed as I am about losing this game, when I look at the big picture, we're so much better than we were for the past 5 seasons. All I asked for going into this season is that we were watchable. Expectations exceeded.

I thought Mitts was good tonight. Guy was noticeable with Elie and Okposo on his flanks. If we get a top 6 winger who can play with him the points will come.

not that easy to change the roster for the better , or every gm would do it . Easy if your playing a video game . Not the same in real life. Every other GM is trying the same damn thing .

Kyle Dubas is making “Be A GM” mode happen in real life if you ask me. Signs Tavares, throws $6.9M a year at Nylander. Anybody’s best guess what the heck is going to happen there in the offseason. More drama there then in a soap opera.

I will agree that the Strome trade doesn't qualify as a major trade, but there's also no movement on Roch to Buf either. It's pretty clear that if the top line doesn't have it, we're not winning. The message from management is clear to this point: there's no help coming; it has to come from within

I would try it tbh with you. If it doesn’t work for a game or two reunite Skinner and Eichel. Something needs to happen. We can’t have all our eggs in one basket. If we do our PP better be top 5 in the league.

Yep seems that way . Lot of money invested and no room for more . The investments need to start paying dividends for this team . Too many games without points from them. . Been a tough stretch, but still. they lack depth scoring .

89 and Homie have mentioned Skinner is the priority. The team is exceeding everyone’s expectations. I bet Botts came into this year thinking we were drafting three times in the first round this year with two picks in the top 15. Botts might just be content with getting Skinner on the dotted line and start plotting out how to rid ourselves of Okposo, Scandella, and Hunwick.

This has been a rough stretch.
As quickly as you can gain confidence, it can be lost.

Before a very nice start to this season is lost, something needs to be done to find a viable pulse for the 2nd and 3rd lines.

I don't profess to know how you fix it but, I just know that something needs to be done sooner rather than later before a playoff spot begins to slip away.

The 2nd and 3rd lines are this team's achilles heel and if we know it, I am sure GM JB knows it as well.
Hopefully he doesn't wait too long to help this team.
