I just find it astounding that you hate so much on a guy who puts up points, yes he struggles without elite talent, but love the dirtiest player in the league who can't score at all without elite talent. Wilson has literally 1 point away from elite players(Ovechkin, Backstrom/Kuznetsov). Sam has 7 away from Eichel BTW.

Maybe move Tage to Eichel's line and put Sam on the dot in the 2 hole, I dunno. Mitts needs to be the 3C for now but with the right wingers he'll be a stud in the future, not now. Sheary ( no goals since Nov 8th) and Okposo (no goals since Nov 13th) are killing this team.

Thompson showed last night what he could do with players that can maintain poession in the o-zone. I think he’d have great success with Eichel. Where as Reinhart can play pitch and catch with Mitts. I think it would help our team.

It's a pipe dream, but wish Sabres could pry Alex Tuch away from VGK.
He's young, big and strong, and scores pretty well...and extended for 6 years at $4.75 starting next year.
He could be exactly what JBotts would like to land...and I would be pleased.

As long as we stay healthy I think we’ll be fine. We held the defending champs to 24 shots on goal last night including being short handed for 8
Minutes. We put 37 shots on net and had more shot attempts (72-59). We did everything but solve Holtby. If we play like that more often then not we will make the playoffs.

I think CJ Smith had a good preseason and could be a good option on the LW. He’s been on the score sheet this past week and a half for Roch.

Agreed. They have proven they can play with anyone.
Two games in a row I felt they should have won, but the opposing goalie stole the game...they created plenty of opportunities.
As we all agree and have discussed, they need to get contributions from the middle six.

Probably, but I want Nylander up for say 15 games to get a real solid evaluation on his NHL game. Play him with Eichel and Mitts only to give him the absolute best opportunity.
