It was awesome, will you be joining for the playoff run?
- Reubenkincade

I only cheer for the Canucks so I won't be cheering for anyone during the playoffs.

Fair enough, look forward to having you on the team, next season.
You will have fun.

When Edler goes to Toronto at the deadline, will you guys be able to cheer for him and the Leafs in the Playoffs?
- Byfuglien Ate Me

My money is on the fact that Edler will probably choose a team that can make it past the second round.

Most definitely.
A couple upgrades are coming off injury soon, so we shall see how that turns out.
I know this is not the popular opinion here, but, Sutter will be a huge improvement over Gaudette and his 6 minutes of icetime per game.
Also, your favourite player, was the only player other than Markstrom, to not have a shot on net.😁

- Reubenkincade

That is very interesting. We played some very close games and a guy like Sutter and one addition in the top 6 LW , where does that leave them?

I find it a little funny that we want to move Edler for a first round pick or Tanev. That first round pick at 20-31 could be another Cole Lind. It is not a bad thing but it wont help you in the next five years .

I was just reading something about Elliot Freidman on SN690 and he says he does not get the feeling of an Edler or Tanev trade from Benning Green Tanev or Edler.

Anyways the team has been playing of late like a top team . I would say stay on course build through the draft and find that missing piece or two this summer. And Quinn Hughes

I could see Tampa being his only temptation.

That missing piece or two is replacing 5/6 of the defense and finding two more elite wingers and a number one goaltender. But ya, they're close.

Tough loss last night. That was really good hockey we played. I was pretty pi$$ed after that goal but after sleeping on it I’m still p$$$ed. A lot of good things happened before that goal though.

That’s pretty good. Not good enough for the playoffs but if they keep it up they will be knocking on that wildcard door.

I still want to be a seller at the deadline though.

Yes. I could see WPG too oddly enough. They have knocked on Edler before.

I want them to continue building. I want smart trades and not necessarily for picks.

I am not sure how deep this draft is but there is no Matthews McDavid or Laine. Hughes is a very good player but he is more of a Barzal type and not a Crosby type. I am not sure where the talent drops off so I am not all jumping in we need more picks. I probably have about 7 players that I really really want but I don't think we will be bad enough.

I was thinking climate, being fairly anonymous away from the rink, low tax rate as well Stanley Cup potential. Winnipeg only offers one of those.

Hughes is projected to be a franchise center, smashing all the records. Kinda a patrick kane who plays center.
Not as good as McDavid, better then matthews, Eichel, Laine. Id say equal to Laine but he plays center so he's higher regarded.

Minivan could chauffeur him around town and tell him who they could potentially draft

I am more interested in why Wahlstrom is the odd man out when imo he is the best player in that group at forward.

I will be honest for me it is Madden beating Hughes out of the center spot. I knew he has been getting a lot of positive press .

I have heard a few insiders talking about Hughes and his potential , they all say he is very good but he in not a generational player and may not even be the best player in next years draft. It will be interesting to see how this plays out .

Wahlstrom is a bit of a surprise.
