Granted I was watching the Seahawks on my phone for most of the game, but every time I’ve looked up Evan Bouchard has been not good at hockey.

I know it is an individual award but when you team is in 21 st place and have been scored upon exactly as much as the Canucks in less games he will probably get passed over as best defensive forward

It's looking good for sure... remeber it wasn't too long ago the same media was poopting on Jake for a poor performance in the same tournament. It's pretty rare when a young player can put it all together that early in a career . Really makes you appreciate guys like Bo, Brock and Petey who's games have translated so quickly .

I have stated I am more than happy to eat crow, like I have with Elias, I just like too see players have at least a shift or 2, at the nhl level, before making a statement like that.

Good under 20 player. Looks like an average NHL player at best. But who knows... I still think OJ is going to turn out alright , not neccesary a game breaker but a solid puck mover I think.

There are certain things you can judge before they ever step on an NHL rink . Speed is one of them ( Hyghes), hockey IQ( Dahlin) , physicality (Tkachuk)

cross your fingers for a 3-4. I worry for his foot speed defensively. Everything else will be fine. If he can stay healthy he should develop into a nice top 4. Everyone keeps saying Hamhuis. let's hope so.

We are basically a top 2 dman, goaltender, and another top 6 winger away from being competitive IMO.

Hughes will step into the top 2 role IMO but will take time.

Demko could be the answer but many questions still exists including Dipietro.

Free Agency might be an option for a top 6 winger to play with Bo but it's looking like it might be a draft pick.

We're getting there albeit slowly.

Team Canada this year didnt take the best team. They also dont have any stand out players to take over games. Good players that can put up points but no stand outs.

I don't think he is underrated. Its well known that he is one of the best 200 ft players in the game. He just doesn't get the attention because off the market he is in. He's Not Bergeron but pretty dam close all the same.
