Could you imagine the uproar of fans who paid 250$ + for a ticket, only to be told the game is over after the first because of a "mercy rule". It would be awful for the game. These kids will get over it.

IMO, didn't care what the score was. They stopped celebrating after goal 7 or something. Not going to just quit playing.

100% agree. There’s no way for all of them to work out. I think Dahlen looks solid, he’s got a upward arc. McCann is already deserving of mockery, but we made the most of it by getting a roster player.

in all honesty though, even in a 14-0 game, if I scored 4 goals while representing my country in an international tournament, on home soil, I would be celebrating like crazy too. I am honestly baffled at the amount of people concerned over team Denmarks feelings. I feel bad for the kids, it would suck, but their coach is probably telling them get over it and focus on the next one. A loss is a loss. Time to move on.
