Unfortunately the injuries forced him into the NHL but this is best for him, hopefully he goes down and finds success immediately. - LeftCoaster
He was a PP weapon down there in the OV spot and was apparently looking pretty good as a 2C in the AHL.
Hopefully next time he comes up NB gets a clue and watches some tape on him to figure out where to play him. |

He's been better on the PK without being attached to Schaller, but his results still aren't anything to write home about.
I don't see this good on the forecheck or good on the boards stuff people bring up with him. I just don't. He's no better than any depth forward there.
He's a cheap depth player, and that's fine, but he shouldn't be bolted into the lineup. - Lindenis#1
Agreed.
He’s not a lock.
I think he’s been scratched quite a few times earlier in the year.
I’d be fine with him sitting and schaller being waved if:when everyone is healthy and playing well.
But if Sven struggles, I wouldn’t hesitate to sit him as well and keep the lineup that has been having success together |

He was out several weeks with an elbow injury, could be affecting his shooting...or just not good enough yet.
Like Nucker says, as did Lind himself, he wasn't expecting such a big difference between Junior and ahl...needs to put in the work this summer. - Reubenkincade
Yep for sure, he's a first year pro and has tons of room to grow as a player. It's still disappointing he hasn't got at least one though. I'm sure minivan would have one by now. |

It is kinda disappointing though, the zero goals. - LeftCoaster
I thought he'd be better in the AHL - I watched him a lot in Kelowna - he did fine with no Dube. He is technically young for the AHL due to Bday. He only turned 20 3 months ago.
He greatly improved every year in Kelowna - hoping for the same! Still top 9 potential for sure.

Agreed, I think his saving grace at the moment is being the poor man's Sven Baertschi.
But once Baertschi is up to speed and Sutter is healthy then I literally don't know how to justify him in the lineup. |

Gaudette needs to go to Utica and add 2 or 3 inches to his stick and learn to shoot and stick handle without having to bend over so far. Seems to fan on a lot of shots or doesn’t get the velocity that most guys get. Shorter sticks are great to stick handle in tight and bang home one timers on his off side during a pp. But when time a space are a factor, he needs to be able to get shots off faster than he did in college. |

Afternoon gentlemen! Should be a excellent game tonight! 2 of the hottest teams as of late. Canucks never make it easy as they play well vs the Flames. Sven being back should help.... maybe, depending on how much work he could put in while injured.
Hoping Tkachuk acts up a bit after taking some subtle criticism from the coach these past few days. Regardless I would expect an emotional game. Good luck!

I mean it's reasonable to assume that they'll roughly get the same amount of points they've been getting so far. Which for them is .500 hockey |

Won't this be 0-5 in the last 5?

and I'm sure the Oilers have a bunch of excuses too, just like every other .500 team when they go on losing streaks

What's wrong with that idiot in Dallas calling out Benn and Seguin publicly? I wish we had a deeper prospect pool to go with our first round pick because he'd look great on Pettersson's LW. |

You can come back with bragging rights after the Oilers win 9 of their next 10

Or perhaps I'll wait until the end of the season after the ups and downs of an 82 game season play out and both mediocre teams end up finishing at around the same spot in the standings |
